The hallways were pretty gross: super-stained and dingy carpet that's bubbling up in a lot of places. The first room they gave my hadn't been cleaned at all (two-liter and trash sitting right there on the desk, covers at the foot of the bed and the tv was still on). The next room was fine. Dirty towels that were piled in the hall on Saturday when I checked in were still there Sunday when I left. It did the job, but I wouldn't return.

What a joke
First, the price was outrageous. I paid more than $400 for 2 nights when the sign at the hotel said $399/wk. Clearly scalping just because it was Baylor's graduation weekend. The floor of the room was sticky and globs of chocalate were stuck to it. At least i hope it was chocolate. I wiped up some water with a towel and it was fithy afterwards. The breakfast that was included in the room price was extremely limited, and not worth teh bother. Generally, the building was really showing its age and was in desparate need of an update. Paint was peeling in the room, especially the bathroom. I won't stay here again at any price.

The stay was good, the room was mostly clean, and the front desk was friendly. There were small things that could be improved on. The whole place needs remodeling. Also, there were shady people hanging around and a constant smell of marijuana outside. I probably wouldn’t stay there again, but this time was okay.

If it wasn't for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, I would definitely give this place a solid 1. They were the only bright spot at this place. The carpets were filthy, cigarette ashes everywhere on the floor (despite being a non-smoking place), and the shower had mold on the ceiling that looked liked it had been just patched over. Don't even get me started on the weird black stains in the toilet!!! The beds were terrible - my husband said he felt like he was sleeping in a "V" all night. The noise from within the hotel was crazy - none of us got any sleep! We were supposed to be there for two nights for an event with my son but we left after one night. We opted to drive the hour and a half back and forth to our home instead of subject ourselves to this place any longer. The whole place needs an upgrade and DEEP CLEANED!! Front staff were FANTASTIC, tho. Super helpful and understanding. Keep them - change the hotel.
