The Ritz was everything we expected of a hotel of this caliber. The room was very comfortable and had everything you would expect, the gym was great, food and drinks were great, and on the whole the staff were fantastic. But, one glaring fault stops me giving this hotel 5/5. We booked the NYE dinner via email, and received a confirmation that we had a table. Come NYE and there is no record of our booking!! We had travelled from Australia, bringing formal clothes specifically for this dinner, only to miss out because of a booking mistake. While its human error, and I accept that 100%, it could have been handled better - surely an extra 2 guests at a buffet dinner could be accomadated?

Great spot. Location was an easy ten minute walk to Alexanderplatz and historical part of Berlin. Near the river cruise pier. Trams, buses, trains, shops. Hop on, hop off bus. Hotel amenities terrific. Beds comfy. Tea and coffe making facilities and mini fridge was appreciated. Helpful and friendly staff.
