I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient.

September short break
We stayed for two nights mid week. Moore House is in the old town high street and has no parking space so had to park in nearby public car park which is only a problem if you have much luggage. Our room, on the top floor was very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor in the breakfast/lounge. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice and well presented. Danielle made us very welcome and is an excellent host.

We stayed in at Moore House for two nights and it was lovely. The room was beautiful, breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. It is in a good location, with the old High St and George St nearby with nice little shops and places to eat and drink.

I cant recommend this hotel enough! We had an absolutely gorgeous stay, the staff were extremely friendly, everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious and we cant wait to come back.

Wonderful place in the middle of the old town. Beautiful rooms, nice and quiet with the exception of the late evening festivities on occasion - but thatā€™s the old town. Nothing too bad! Breakfast is always a delight and the woman the hosts it all is super friendly and accommodating.

Perfectly located small hotel in town centre.
A fantastic little boutique hotel situated in the heart of the old town. Individual, quirky rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and service was second to none. Thanks to the lady who looked after us so well.

Lacklustre welcome from bored staff member in bar. Main door key also opens bedroom (so presumably all bedrooms!). Door lock tricky and needed help from bar staff at 2200 to get in after dinner - not ideal when you just want to go to bed and staff didnā€™t seem surprised so I guess itā€™s not the first time itā€™s happened. Superior room view was only if you stand in corner of room. High pitched noise from tap jarred after a while. Lady at breakfast was great and chef is superb - breakfast was exceptional.

Really nice bedroom and bathroom. Really good location in the centre of Old Town but very quiet. Real milk in the fridge for our tea! The staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing us with an early breakfast so that would have plenty of time to get to a funeral following our stay. Thank you so much, we will drfinitely be back.
