A very well restored and maintained historic building. Room amenities are as described, nice hotel. The check-in process was seamless and close, on-site parking was a perk too. Nice selection of dining options within a walkable distance, and hotel lounge had a really cool vibe.

Our room was great. The front desk staff was absolutely fabulous. The bathroom door stuck and was hard to open when we first arrived. So we didn't shut it entirely throughout our stay. No big deal but it wouldn't hurt to get that fixed. The staff helped me figure it out. (My wife wrote this review because I don't care about reviews.)

I think this is the best hotel in Dubuque. It's got history and is beautifully renovated with comfortable and luxurious rooms and furniture. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything is well run. An altogether comfortable and relaxing stay.

Convenient to downtown locations. Housekeeping services was average. Key to room deactivated twice while there for a 5-night stay. Suite was lovely and spacious. Full size kitchen and living room area was nice to have as an option. Although Caroline's Restaurant is convenient and located in the hotel, it required reservations on Christmas Day to eat there, needless to say, we did not have reservations.
