Oceanfront room was Amazing. We watched the sunrise every morning. Hotel was very clean, modern, and friendly staff. Will definitely be back here again!

You’re better off staying at any other hotel or resort than this one. 1. Water was shut off multiple times during our stay. Immensely frustrating when we came here from an area impacted by Hurricane Helena because we didn’t have water at home. 2. Random charges from the resort beyond the resort fee. Charged $237 for “resort fees” and one day of a breakfast buffet ($30 per person and if you pay for it while booking online, they don’t honor it). No one on staff could tell me how much I actually had to pay and what was being paid for. I’m still awaiting an itemized receipt from the resort. 3. If you’re staying on the side facing the ocean, you’ll hear the terrible music they play from outside bar anywhere in the hotel. 4. Room was disgustingly dirty. Skin flakes and hairs on the sheets, furniture covered in dust, and skid marks in the toilet. Positives… the staff was friendly and you have nice access to the beach. That’s it. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

We got to the hotel around 11:45pm. Check in went smooth and got up to the room pretty quickly. My wife walked into the bathroom and there was a huge cockroach on the vanity. The room also had a weird smell to it. So we went back down and by chance got the manager on duty. He was very apologetic and got us into a new room. We went back upstairs and walked into our new room, only to find someone else was already in the room sleeping. Back downstairs we go. I spoke to my third staff member to try and get another new room. She was helpful but I also asked to speak to a supervisor (the guy who just put me in the occupied room) and he chose to not come back out. We got assigned a third room. No bugs or people in this one. But there were multiple long dark hairs in both beds. At this point it was 1am and we had been trying to get into a room for over an hour, so we dealt with it. As a 15 year Marriott member, we decided to give this property a shot and for obvious reasons, were extremely disappointed. I would NOT recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Needs updated in areas. Rooms were nice, but the rest of the hotel (hallways and other areas) needs updated. I was on the 6th floor and they had painters tape holding the corners of the baseboards together. Staff was friendly and helpful. Outdoor bar closed at 6pm on the weekends....seems a little early
