Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful, the staff were immediately helpful and relaxed. We were allowed into our room early, got a parking space and it was flawless. The breakfast was perfect, our stay perfect and I would come again. We only had 4 teabags in the room so had to buy some the second day but its hardly a big issue. Amazing hotel, friendly staff and fabulous break...thank you. It was appreciated.

Great place to stay.

Great stay with the family. The kids loved the pool and had a room of their own room which really helped in the evening. We all had a really good sleep and breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs. The room decor was a little tired and the basin tap had seen better days, but overall the room was clean and bright and comfortable with not musty smells.

Not the usual Crowne Plaza standard

Crowne Plaza hotels are my usual go to hotel chain as the standard is much higher. Unfortunately this was not the case this time. I paid over £300 for 2 nights for a room that was sub standard. Due to heavy rain the window leaked all over our suitcase and the room looked like a budget room. I had asked for chocolates to be left in the room as a gift but these were forgotten although this was rectified.

We had a brilliant 2 night stay with our 18 month old. The facilities were excellent, especially the clean swimming pool and changing rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was very convenient for transport, shops and dining. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Chester races, 1 person on check in on ladies day check in was poor. A long wait to check in. Room not available which is acceptable, however, when I got to my room later it was very hot. Even with the aircon turned down to low it was stuffy. The tap over the bath for the shower leaked and the room felt generally tired. For £275 a night my expectation was much much higher.
