The reason we booked the hotel was for the rave reviews of the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, the hotel systems were down so they were not able to give us keys to our room and the restaurant/bar was closed. They did escort us to our room for entrance but we had to very mindful when we left because we were not able to get back in without an escort. Very disappointed.

Great welcoming staff, Nice room. It was wonderful to be able to walk to food and the convention center easily. The coffee pot gave us a little trouble, but staff is wonderful about exchanging it quickly.

The property is very nice. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfy. We came to see a rockets game and the stadium is a quick 10 min walk away. There are also lots of restaurants within the area. My only issue is I’m a Marriott bonvoy member and they sent an email asking if I wanted To check in early and at what time. Our flight came in very early and we arrived at the hotel around 10am and I knew The room wouldn’t be ready they took our name and told us they would call. We came back a little after 12pm and the room was not ready. They had no idea and couldn’t give an estimate. We didn’t get in until 20 min before the check in time and that’s because I had my sister to see what was taking so long. We had seen other people check in but never received a call. I was a little disappointed with that.

I had a great stay. I ran into a few issues with housekeeping not cleaning the room 2 days. However, Trae, the new front desk manager, came to the rescue on the second day and had housekeeping complete the task. In the evening, the bartender in the main lobby and restaurant was amazing!

Valet was not very professional and had us wait over 45min after they forgot about us, was really expensive as well $50 for one night. Other hotel staff were great. Rooms average, were kind of worn out and not very clean. Good location.
