Overall decent experience as far as being quiet however I didn’t like the fact that it’s not like vrbo owners actually live in the property and is only a door away. It was very clean and well kept. When i read apartment I didn’t think it was a part of someone’s home I thought it would have a full kitchen and 100% privacy. Limited parking and excessive walking when parking is full.

The only thing is that the parking isn’t “ideal” if you don’t mind a short walk though - then this minor flaw can EASILY be over looked by the amazing QUALITY, AFFORDABILITY AND LOCATION ! So close to everything we wanted to do in Houston. 5 star baby !

Things to know
I will start by saying the owner was veey considerable afterwards. The place is smaller then it appears, you are literally in their kitchen and everything they cook you will smell. They live upstairs and you hear their every move. The linen was very dingy and bled colors. If you are looking for somewhere to lay your head fine, but if you are taking your lady i wouldn't advise.

Worth It
The bad: -The room is across the way from a very active railway, we were only there at night but I personally heard the train every 2 hours or so. -Parking isn't the best but there are 9 spots available for the whole complex, we got lucky there was one available everytime we came and went. -Locking the door takes a lil learning but not impossible The good: -Blake is very nice, super responsive, and is clear with his instructions and communication. -Location is super close to EADO, downtown and major highways. -inside is nice and clean, sleep number bed, soft sheets, big towels, nice shower. Overall, it's a great place to stay by yourself or with a spouse, any more than 2 people would feel cramped as it is just a bed, small desk, kitchenette, and bathroom. We didn't spend much time there as we were out and about so it was a good home base. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay close to where everything is, this is your spot.

Perfect Stay for Solo Travelers
I recently stayed in this room and it was a fantastic choice for a solo traveler. The small desk area with a lamp was extremely useful for my work, especially since I had two laptops. I loved having the little balcony to relax and get some fresh air. The room had everything I needed, including a comfortable sleep number bed. It's a great option for those wanting to be near the city with easy access to the highway. Keep in mind it's a shared room, but the noise from upstairs was not a problem. The host was amazing and accommodated my booking changes quickly and without any issues. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place
Really enjoyed this property. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Super comfortable bed. Close to downtown and easy access to the interstate. Parking can be a little tricky as there are only 5 guest spots inside the gated area. We stayed two nights and were able to park inside the gates.

We had a change of plans so we only ended up staying the third night that we booked. The TV did not work and that was a major issue for my fiancé. He wanted to see the highlights from the World Series game. Also frustrating because this location is very close to train tracks and they were very active this night. In the end we got up at 2 AM and left the property because we couldn't sleep. Another factor which the owners might consider is that there are a lot of LED type illuminated devices in the tiny room. There's light coming from under the bed which is was bright, the refrigerator panel, a sconce, and also a temperature panel on the wall. Even though these might be insignificant light sources in a larger room... in a small one it's alot. Between the light, the freeway/train noise, and the inability to watch TV it was very disappointing. We did attempt to text the owner about the tv, but I guess it was too late because we never received a response.
