Not worth your money or stay!
Oh where do i begin.. Well the room was great, yes but the views were nice. The shower was nice too. The bed was hard, the couch was hard like no one has ever sit on the couch. The receptionist with fuzzy hair and the lady with beautiful blue eyes need an update on customer service, they had horrible attitudes and man I tell you they made the experience horrible! The new girl that was working on my first night was awesome, great, bubbly, energetic, very nice but the other two were just rude, mean, and condasending!! Like take a happy pill or two before you go to work! I was not aware or told that i needed a room key to use the elevator, was not aware that there was no parking other then with Valet (valet gentlemen were very very sweet and nice) They rocked!! Very angry that there was no breakfast except in the resturant, like after paying seriously no comp breakfast!! The stay was not worth 0!! I sadly will only come back because of the valet team and the new girl, other than that it is not worth the stay! Yeah I am angry there was no COFFEE!! You had a machine for espresso, latte, and stuff but no regular coffee!! The towels were so darn stiff like someone put a whole can of starch on the towels, I read that the towels were incredibly soft, the bed was soft and it was the exact opposite! I am angry cus I paid for the room (and additional for deposit, so they got an additional that i was not prepared for. I was not happy!!

The apartment was so cute! I had a little trouble finding the parking garage, but that is probably because I am directionally challenged. I called the property, and decided to valet. The restaurant in the facility was lovely and timely. Everyone working at this property was so nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

Great place for the price, it had very spacious room with kitchen stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Made it easy to feel like home although parking was expensive / not ideal. $30 a day to park is pretty steep.

Booked this because indicated dog friendly. However when we checked with 2 dogs we were told only 1 dog per room and we needed to book 2 rooms for 2 dogs. That detail is not obvious in booking page. I assume it is buried somewhere, although I didn’t find. They need to be more transparent about specifics of policy. Staff helping with check-in could have been nicer. Also only had 1 bath towel in one of the rooms. The valet staff were great. Renovations were nice. It is noisy due to traffic so pack ear plugs. Just not a good feeling about place because cost us 2 rooms instead of one.

The Rusk Apartment House is an amazing property. The restaurant has amazing food, the Loft I stayed in was spacious and clean. The hotel is beautiful! It’s in the heart of downtown Houston, so there’s many things you can walk to in the area.

The housekeeping was terrible. There was no hot water and the toilet would not flush even after maintainence “fixed” the issue. The cleanliness was not the best. Also, the staff interaction upon check-out was very rude and not receptive of my concerns nor accommodating.

Nice place but check in process was a mess. Noone on site Had to try multiple codes before i could get in. Then when we tried to pay for parking in garage they kept telling us our cards were declining. Finally after about 10 min it worked. Then uoon check out. The code given didnt work so multiple codes were tried again. The TV didnt work either

The bed was the best bed I think I have ever slept in! The pillows were amazing too. I frequently have back, hip & sciatica pain, so a soft bed is best for me to get a good night's sleep. This bed..... I want one for at home! The only complaint that I have is there was a constant, high-pitched sound that we heard almost the entire time. We were there for a concert, so didn't come back to our apartment until pretty late, & I did not hear it then. Prior to returning though, we did go to our friend's apartment on the 10th floor to hang out. I heard the same high-pitched sound in their room too. I'm thinking it had to do with people using water, maybe? I finally got used to it, but my husband found it to be annoying. Also, the coffee pods were not replenished in our apartment, so Sunday morning I went without coffee. My husband went downstairs & got some of the complimentary coffee, but when I went to get some, I couldn't get the machine to work right, I guess, because I only got a half of a cup & it did not taste good.

The Rusk House was extremely clean with a lot of space, convenient to Minute Maid and had great service. We will definitely stay here again for concerts and Games at Minute Maid!
