The staff were absolutely amazing.!! From checking till checking out.! Superb .! Breakfast was so much to choose from and satisfying while watching the 360 degree views of the Bosphorus The room staff was so help and wonderful, they left lovely fragrances daily which made our stay feel like home. We were so central, the Istanbul transport system so easy to use and was literally 50meter away from the hotel The Sultanhan hotel is definitely on top of our list of hotels for our next trip .! I highly recommend Sultanhan Hotel if you want to be central to everything Istanbul has to offer.! E&J KOR

We stayed here with kids. Location is perfect, one can easily walk to the blue and hagia Sophia mosque. In fact the grand bazaar is also 5-9min away. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating with late checkout and also helping us with booking cabs. The restaurant here has an amazing 360 degree view of Istanbul and nearby mosque. This was definitely a nice perk. Would recommend this place if you are short on time or looking to stay in the heart of old town. I would return to this hotel and recommend

We recently stayed at the Sultanhan Hotel in Istanbul as a family of four, including two younger children, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the Sultanahmet area, making it a perfect choice for those wanting to explore Istanbul’s top tourist attractions. The location is truly unbeatable — Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace are all within easy walking distance. The tram stop is also nearby, making it convenient to explore other parts of the city. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for families. Our room was spacious enough for all four of us, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was pleasant. The atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and welcoming, with a touch of traditional charm that complements the historic area. Fantastic Experience in Hotel Sultanhan
The service and atmosphere of this hotel is fantastic, nevertheless, our highlight is always the breakfast. The restaurant offers an amazing view of the city of Istanbul and the service is always friendly and great! You could feed the seagulls on a good day and the owner /manager was kind enough to open the glass window for us to take photos without the glare of the indoor lights. It is a wonderful way to start the day.

Great location for Blue Mosque etc although people wanting easy access to bars and restaurants will prefer to be on the other side of Golden Horn. We enjoyed our stay - apart from the very early start to the airport :-)
