I loved the atrium look of the hotel. As i have stayed before and enjoyed the beautiful view. Also enjoyed the selection of breakfast choices. But this time my view was obscured by the parking garage. Was very disappointed. But will make reservations again.

The parking situation is not good We were checked into a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke !! Awful - at first the front desk said there were o other rooms available at all … when we said if that’s the case what can you do for us ??? He suggested coming down to spray with an air freshener When we said that would not be ok he switched us to another room afterall - That room was great - their breakfast buffets is great I had someone with me who slept on the pull out bed & she reported it was extremely noisey all night . We were grateful to have been relocated out of the smoky room Not sure we’d return ……

This was an unexpected bargain. The price of $197 a night was questionable but there were so many good reviews; it was worth it. The hotel was a former Embassy Suites, now Harmony. It is a little dated inside, but I found it clean. The room was not fancy, but it was clean, and no bugs. There was a slight mildew smell, but overall it was a great value.

The new management is not the Hilton. This is no longer the embassy suites. Be very aware of this if you decide to stay here. Personally, this is my first time staying here after it switched, this used to be my first option whenever we are coming for a vacation in the NY city area and I did not consider other options unless this had no vacancy on the days we were planning. This is for sure my last stay here, nothing to do with the staff who at times looked terrified from the supervisors.

I stay here all the time for business, and I love it. But this time, the gentleman at the front desk was a bit rude. Sometimes, I book for 3 people but there must have been a mistake and the drop down menu online only added 2 people, unbeknownst to me. Upon arrival I was given a hard time to add the third person AND… after paying the additional $20 to add the third person, I was told the third person could not be given a breakfast pass. (AFTER I PAID EXTRA FOR THE THIRD PERSON?) this didn’t seem like a professional thing to do, especially as a recurring customer. If you pay for the extra person that person deserves their breakfast as well!!! I’m considering a change of business hotels next time I’m in the area. It’s a small detail but the principle of the matter really left a bad taste.

Great hotel but...
We only stayed one night. Beautiful hotel. Good staff. My only problems was that I had to pay extra for one of my grandchildren to stay and extra for him to eat and he was only 6. Also the smoke detector in our room went off everytime someone took a for shower and I opened the bathroom door to come out.

Nice. Clean. Friendly.
Great hotel in Jersey, easy trip to NYC. Two rooms, king beds, made to order breakfast omelets. One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. Its a bit dated as far as colors and finishes, but great beds and free parking. First choice when in the area again.
