Ohana with Pool and Ocean Views close to Airport and Kailua Town

This is the perfect vacation rental for a couple or single traveler. If your group cannot share a queen-sized bed, this is not the place for you. The bedroom has its own bathroom. Exclusive (not shared) use of the Aloha entertainment/kitchen room is included with your booking.

This rental is a separate building on the property. The bedroom has a Queen sized bed, an ensuite bathroom and its own entrances. The Aloha room is separate and includes a kitchen with full size refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, and a 2 burner induction cooking surface. It also has its own entrances. The guest lanai is perfect for meals; embrace outdoor living while dining al fresco. In true Hawaiian style, access to rooms is from the lanai.

The Aloha room is your entertainment center as well. It includes a sofa, 55" TV, free WiFi, and free access to streaming video. The sofa is not available as a sleeping surface. You will be charged an additional $50 cleaning fee should you use the sofa for sleeping. Laundry is $5/load due to the expensive water and electricity rates.

Guests will enjoy the oversize swimming pool and deck area open for use until 9 p.m. each night.

No need to bring your beach gear...we supply your beach towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear.

Children must be supervised at all times while on the property.

The property and rooms were very nice, clean and a cute little place. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The stovetop was the only thing. We couldn’t figure out how to use it, and since it was early in the morning did not want to bother our hosts…🌺

Private and close to Kona
Beautiful mature landscaping and very private with your own inground pool. After one hour, I did not mind at all using the outdoor hallway! The coqui frogs ... I loved. Peter was always busy making improvements. And we chatted alot ... gonna have to dock his pay!! And Cathy had the property decorated for Christmas! Really down to Earth individuals ... and present. This second place is managed by a 1 800 number. Getting the assistance I need but, just not the same!!!

This place is a gem. The beds are comfortable, there is a full kitchen, the shower is great, there is a great outdoor dining area, you are welcome to use the inground pool, and the backyard is a great spot to watch the sunset. Cathy and Peter are very welcoming. I highly recommend this property!

Had access to their pool but never felt the need to use it since we came to Hawai’i for the ocean. Some construction ongoing while we were there but didn’t impact our visit. Great get-away in hills above Kailua-Kona.
This property was located about a 10 minute drive up the hill from the beach, easy to find, and had a very nice, private driveway up to the home and rental. I was here for a brief two- night stay, and it was perfect for me by myself, but would have been just as perfect with a companion. The owner lives on the property and provided excellent, clearly written instructions for everything and a nice welcome/orientation to the property. Owners were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was clean, in working order, nicely appointed and lots of extras available for use for information, beach or whatever one's interest. Nice back patio, swimming pool and yard. Highly recommended if one wants to stay in a nice, easily accessible home above Kailua-Kona with pleasant hosts.

Owners are super friendly and helpful. Property is at 800' elevation with views of ocean and sunset. Quiet, safe, secure on an acre of fenced/gated, relaxing away from the chaos of Kailua, while convenient to Kailua-Kona for errands. Would stay again.

Nice stay!
Rental is in 2 separate rooms. One has kitchen and living area, the other has bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and well set up. Owner Peter very helpful. Only concern was some traffic noise. Owner did his best to address this with rock wall in front. Also has nice pool we didn’t use.

Great owners, clean unit, would stay again
Initial impression is that there are lots of construction projects going on at the rental and adjacent house (stacked lumber, etc) but unit was very nice and exceptionally clean. Slightly different layout -- had to go outside from kitchen/living room to get to bathroom'/bedroom but not an issue. Peter and Kathy were GREAT hosts. BTW -- complimentary body boards, snorkel gear, beach towel to use was convenient!

Great stay during a wedding!!
Peter and Cathy were great hosts with helpful information and suggestions. They are very connected with the island and can direct you to what you need. Central location for all activities on the Kona side of the island as well as convenient to travel to the Hilo side of the island. Beautiful property to enjoy during downtime! Also, we took advantage of signing up for their Ukulele lessons as well..great fun!
