Not a 4 star hotel!
Not a 4 star hotel! The management is the problem, They claim a few restaurants but in reality its the same place just with different names.  The Dinner restaurant had ONLY 6 tables with 1 waiter so we had to eat outside, the breakfast was a mess! only 2 waiters.. it took 30 minutes to be seated and 1+ hour to get the food my sone ordered (The buffet was OK). ate the rest of the meals outside. The casual bar restaurant was OK, but the was actually the only dinner/lunch option with a limited variety of food. The breakfast caffe was open for maybe 3 hours in the morning. The Wifi was TERRIBLE!! barley worked. The AC in the gym didn't work...got to 78F, had to complain several times about it, The was a volleyball court but there where no balls available with a lame excuse that: "someone hit the ball to the roof a few days ago... "  The bicycles they had where poorly maintained. The Managers where not very efficient to say the least.  Some staff where nice and made an effort, some staff where terrible and didn't seem to care. The room was a bit run down and to operate the shower you needed to hold the nob while opening the water - like a 1 star motel.... VERY BIG disappointment from a Sheraton!

We typically stay at higher-end hotels, but this time we decided to bring the kids and chose the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Our initial room didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of the view, but my wife spoke with the front desk, and they were incredibly accommodating. They quickly moved us to a top-floor, center-stage room with an incredible view—problem solved with such grace and care. The entire staff was delightful, from the morning barista to Belle, who added a personal touch to our experience. The property itself was immaculate, with beautiful grounds and breathtaking sunrise views that felt like a slice of paradise. What really stood out was the intimate, boutique feel of the hotel, something we didn't expect. The staff's attentiveness elevated the experience beyond what we anticipated. This trip was amazing from start to finish, and we’d absolutely stay here again. It’s the perfect spot for a family getaway—gorgeous, welcoming, and memorable in every way. Highly recommend!

No exhaust in the bathroom made everything foggy. No hooks in the bathroom made changing difficult with the family. AC did not go below 68 degrees and the room was hot. The room service did not always clean the room even after asking.

BUSY SEASON REVIEW(DECEMBER) The hotel itself needs some exterior improvements. Walls had cracks and hallways still had carpet. Due to half the hallway being exposed, carpet was moldy. The rooms were nice and clean. Updated and bed was comfy. Pillows were a little too soft for personal comfort but overall pleased with the room. Staff (desk staff) needs some training in customer service, they all had an attitude and wouldn’t even make eye contact with you as you spoke to them or asked a question. Parking was terrible if you leave for the day and come back at night. It was such a mission to find parking, however hotel allowed you to park along the bushes without an issue. Just needed to have parking pass displayed on your dash. Overall LOVED visiting Kauai! Beautiful place, hotels just need a little work.

When we checked the hotels system was down. We had to wait multiple times to be let into our rooms. We also were expected to pay cash for everything and they did not communicate any of this a head of time so we could either choose to stay elsewhere or at the very least be prepared. The amenities were also not working such as laundry facilities or the hot tub. Management was unavailable to speak to our entire stay. I expected more from a Sheraton!

Exceptional staff
Loved our stay at the Sheraton. Our checkin was amazing. Comfy bed. Nice amenities. Not only were we able to checkin super early they have a program to let you stay after checkout and give you a hospitality suite to clean up before heading to the airport. We will definitely come back to this property.

The staff was very kind right off the bat. They were kind enough to move us the different side of the hotel due to luau that was taking place for no extra charge. The rooms were very clean and always gave us fresh towels. The rooms were pretty sound proof. The check out was super easy no hidden fees. Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again.
