Two night dreadful stay.
I stayed at this for two nights here in Ipswich. The place was refurbished to the current style. There are some disappointments unfortunately. I was first disappointed by the logistics parking vehicles. I paid for parking using "Pay by Phone". However, it was found out during check-in, I get discounts. What a wasting money! While the room was refurbished and well air conditioned, the soundproof and the loud door banging by other people threw me off quite a lot during my stay. I had to put the headphone all the time. The sofa in the room was useless. The sofa seemed detachable and not in the wall fully. If it detaches, it could easily go into an injury. Breakfast - I have no comment for this was. I was not satisfied with the food quality. I was also not satisfied by the quality of the service. The plates were really hot(!) and witnessed guests including myself had to use the paper napkins to hold the plate. Why not putting the plates on the side once its warm enough? While the place is in Ipswich, the professionalism was not there. For example, I tried to sort out the parking in the morning of the second day, I waited for ten minutes in the reception, but no body was there. It is important that somebody needs to be at the reception desk should the guests need help all the time. So based on my comments, there are some improvements needed.

Nice and central for ipswich, but not right in the centre about a 5 minute walk from the town centre, the waterfront, and the station . The staff were lovely. The gym was small, but clean and more than enough for a weekend stay. Would definitely use again.

Found the room was a bit smelly on first entering it, as if someone had been smoking in the room before. Slept well. Parking was an issue as no spaces were available on arrival at the hotel, so I had to pay for parking on a nearby road/street.

Decent, comfortable, but could be better
Nice hotel, very good location. Staff relatively friendly. However, was woken up two days in a row from 8.30am due to drilling and DIY work on my floor. I understand the work has to be done and it was midweek. But at least think about the guests and start loud drilling a bit later

The rooms were clean, large and modern with a great power shower. Bed was a bit firm for us and I don't know why hotel pillows are just so bad.liked the hotel, good value for money and would stay again if in the area.
