Just a couple of blocks from Kyoto’s train station, what makes it very convenient if you’re planning to use Kyoto as a base for day trips to the region around it. Very nice area to stay!

Super close to train station. For US travelers, just understand that rooms in Japan hotels are smaller than you are used to. But overall this hotel was great.

Great location across the street from Kyoto station east exit. Roos are cozy (small if you are coming from the US). Hard to put in a lot of large luggage. Onsen is fantastic. Walking distance to many restaurants outside and inside of Kyoto station. Highly recommend.

It is an OK hotel. Nothing more, nothing less
Basically a self service hotel. It is fine. Everything is done through the big TV in the room. The room was very small but is not a capsule. The bathroom is very similar to a standard cruise ship bathroom. No complaints about this hotel.
