Dump on the Algarve
This was not a hotel. Check in was difficult and not on site. No parking. Dirty and run down property. Missing shower door. In short, a dump. Exhorbitant fees were added during booking. We had to sign something that said we would leave no trash inside overnight (mice? Rats? Who knows). Late check in (4 pm) early check out (10 am). Big charged for check in after 7 pm. It really was a dump. I thought i could count on hotels.com to book a hotel. This seemed more.like a managed air b%b

This place was very nice inside clean and a value bargain right in the cool part of the square with restaurants and shops very close. Down side is parking on these little streets Is limited. It does have a free parking lot about a quarter mile away. Good place. They said we could check in early and when we got to their office t was not ready early and didn’t communicate this until we got their. They were friendly however and the house made up for it in charm and cleanliness
