Just 1 hour north of Sydney. Beautiful bamboo waterfront house. 25 metres of flat lawn to water's edge of Lake Munmorah, at front of house. At the back, your very own secluded tropical oasis. Massive resort lagoon pool surrounded by luscious palm trees. A walkway bridge leads to a covered island in the middle of the pool.
Massive deck also overlooks pool.

Enjoy a candlelit dinner on your own island, catch prawns for lunch at the lake edge or hire a boat across the lake.

This 2 bedroom home is nice and comfy even though old but we had a wonderful time relaxing by the lagoon style pool, having a bbq and taking a stroll along the path by the waters. At night watch the sun go down by the waters, it was beautiful. The host was friendly and helpful, prompt communications. Only few minutes drive to shops.

Upside & downside
Upside: the location of this property is unbeatable, the rear view is right onto the lake. The house has great hot water and hot/cold aircon. The front yard is a lovely sun trap. Downside: the host called me a day before to advise he would be unavailable. He gave me the cleaning lady’s number. On arrival, none of the keys supplied worked as the locks were all dysfunctional and I had great trouble getting in. I called the cleaning lady but no answer and in the end got in through a bedroom. I couldn’t locate the remote for the aircon. Then got hold of the cleaning lady, who was helpful and advised the locks don’t work. She asked me not to lock the house on departure (thereby proving the locks don’t work). The check in message said you only had to bring a bath towel and face towels would be supplied, but I found only a small kitchen dish towel - nothing else. I think the lack of care and maintenance of the home is a great shame, it has the potential to be lovely and is overpriced compared to comparable quality homes in the area. It made me sad.

Quick and easy check in. Great communication with host. Beautiful and relaxing location right on the lake. The pool really is like an oasis. Close to off leash dog park and a walking track right outside the front door for those with fur babies. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Eddy.

Excellent stay
We loved our stay at Waterfront Oasis! The location is amazing and the house was perfect for us. The host is friendly and helpful and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was good. They also provided a portacot for us so we didn't have to squeeze one in the car. The pictures of the pool speak for themselves, it's like having a private resort! Due to the open layout it could be a little challenging with a busy body toddler but thankfully we took our playpen with us. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed with Family, my baby is 18 months old and my golden retriever! Th pool is great and the house is well equipped. I mistakenly locked us out and Eddy was super helpful in helping us get back in. Overall a fab stay and I would love to go back again.

Beautiful dog friendly accommodation! Awesome lagoon pool out back and beautiful lake views out front. Cute little house. Very clean! Starting to become a little dated but just an amazing place to stay with dogs and your own private pool. Best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in! Didn't want to leave. Not too long of a drive to lots of different places including The Entrance. Close to Budgewoi cafes/chip shops. Eddy also checked in via message during our stay to make sure all was okay. This was lovely. Thanks so much Eddy! Would love to return in the future!

I stayed at the property with a friend, both of our sons and my furbaby for two nights. We had the most relaxing time and the boys spent all their days in the pool. Perfect location if you want a relaxing stay. We will be back again!

It was a nice experience ,only the entrance to the property can be improved. As it was raining when we stayed it was quite difficult to enter and exit the house.Overall lots of amenities. Eddy is very responsive and helpful. .

Great location with an amazing view & pool, dog friendly
We only had a short stay in the house, but enjoyed our time there. Check-in was super easy, Eddy was fantastic to deal with. The pool was fab, when the sun was shining it felt as if we were in a Resort! Amazing views of the lake too. There was some areas that could do with some maintenance but overall really enjoyed our time and will be back again!

Amazing pool, perfect location.
We spent 4 nights at this wonderful property for my husbands 50th birthday. It was the perfect property for us all, adults teenagers and the dog. We could pop in the kayak and the SUP straight into the lake and enjoy a refreshing swim after. Some of the outdoor furnishings and the bathroom could do with a refresh but this did not inhibit the enjoyment of the property. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely home with a great pool
This is the third time we have stayed here and it's all because of the lagoon style pool. Large pool with all different water levels so everyone can enjoy spashing around. House is small but really nice. They have just upgraded all the furniture since we were there last which made it a nice change. Location is superb. House it situated right on the lake amd everything you need is only a 5min drive away. Will go back there again

We had a lot of fun!! Great location!! House was just the right size for our little family… we loved the pool even though the water was sooo cold 🥶 we did get one nice sunny day lounge beds not very comfortable but we put pillows on to make softer other beds reasonable comfortable … we would Have liked back windows to be opened a little but more(not a lot of ventilation fans couldn’t make higher/faster so rooms quite warm of a night)and blinds on side doors to keep house more private especially at night… Overall we had the best time and kids loved the pool we loved the pool will definitely book again in future especially now weather is heating up!! Ps the pool gate being out side back door is amazing especially with having a little one that is a date devil 😈 made my less worried he was going to get out to the pool if I wasn’t looking although aside door inside is lock on house side you can’t get in but inside you can’t lock which was worrying because the kids quickly learnt they could get out somewhere

Waterfront Oasis was a great place to have our short stay holiday. The pool is amazing, the views from the house are breathtaking. The house has everything you need and was very clean. The host was also very responsive and also allowed us an earlier check-in which was great. We will be back for sure!

Tranquility by the lake
Waterfront Oasis is a relaxing and pleasant spot for a quiet vacation. The pool is large and rather unusual in design, but interesting and eminently usable. The facilities provided are basic but more than adequate for a couple of weeks' stay. A few elements of the property could do with a some repairs, and the (only) access via the unlit boardwalk along the pool isn't really ideal for those with mobility issues, especially after dark, but generally, it's a comfortable and functional holiday home for a small family or couple, with a superb lake view. Remember to park on the roadway, rather than the nature strip, or you'll be reported to the council by the neighbour(s) with a potential fine. The owner is very helpful and keen to offer suggestions regarding local attractions, and I'm sure any maintenance issues will be addressed promptly.
