Tesla supercharger motorway country hotel stop
I chose it mainly to break up my journey going south to the M6 and use the sparingly used and excellent Tesla supercharger in their car park. Breakfast starts at 7am and so it’s a reasonable start to a continuing journey. No M74 motorway noise at night even with the windows open and a view of the undulating hills.

Nice, modern hotel, friendly helpful staff. My twin room was very comfortable, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Fkat acreen tv with a few different channels. Lovely clean modern bathroom with nice toiletries. Great shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

Ideal stop just is the M74 when travelling south from working in Aberdeen. Food was great & room was spot on. Far enough away from the motorway that there's no road noise.
