Ideally located within walking distance to Launceston city centre, moments away from the lovely Cuccina café, Brickfields reserve and the Cataract Gorge. This property is additionally only walking distance to the hospital and many other amenities.
Step onto the porch, and admire the charm of this beautiful bedsit. Enjoy a warm coffee while basking in the morning sun on the porch seating. Make your way inside via your own private entrance into a small hallway. Within the hallway you will find a lovely study desk surrounded by beautiful décor and historical photographs.
Step into the inviting bedroom/living space and immerse yourself in a cosy ambiance. Take in the sophisticated furnishings and admire the charming exposed brick walls that grace the area. Discover a range of modern comforts, including a plush queen-sized bed adorned with luxurious bedding, ample storage options with cupboards and a wardrobe for your personal belongings, and a wall-mounted smart TV that adds entertainment to your stay.
The kitchenette nook is equipped with a microwave, kettle, a convenient bar fridge, complimentary consumables, and a coffee machine. Basic cutlery, crockery, and utensils are also provided for your convenience.

Launceston is a beautiful city blending both city and country charms, with heritage streetscapes, a slice of urban wilderness and gourmet food and drink available at every turn. We aren’t just biassed, many agree, with Launceston named Australia’s best town to visit in 2022!
Nestled amongst these iconic buildings, you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces.
Launceston has many things to see and do including the vibrant Harvest Market every Saturday morning, the Princess Theatre, hosting local, interstate, and international performances, the Star Theatre for a cosy, cinematic experience, and many pubs and venues that host amazing live, musical talents.
Often referred to as the 'Lygon’ Street of Launceston, you will find some of Launceston’s most popular eateries and amenities on the illustrious Charles Street. George St is also known as ‘Eat Street’ with a range of restaurants, bars, gin houses and cafes to cater for most tastes.
The Cataract Gorge is a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
The City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys. Nearby, you will find Penny Royal World. This attraction provides you and the family with a fabulous day out, with boat rides, rock climbing, rope courses, and more found here. For the adults, Penny Royal also provides a beautiful atmosphere where you can enjoy a wine or coffee.
An additional area to note is the Seaport Precinct. Here you will find some of Launceston’s most beloved restaurants and bars scattered along the edges of the Tamar River. Restaurants to note are Mud Restaurant and Bar, the Levee Food Co. and Spice. Across the bridge you will find the Riverbend Park for all day play entertainment, the Boathouse Café and Silo Hotel.

Getting Around
To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:
METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. It is easy to spot – painted with the black and brown stripes of a Tasmanian Tiger! For timetables and routes, please see the Metro Tasmania Website (Free Tiger Bus).
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!
BIKE RENTAL: Roll Cycles at 112 Cimitiere St offer bike rentals with options to suit most riders. Whether you are taking a leisurely stroll around town or taking on our world-famous mountain bike trails, Roll Cycles have you covered.
UBER: Uber is a popular form of transport used by many locals and tourists. To use, simply download the ‘Uber’ app on your phone and book a ride to your destination.

Please note that this is a separate, self-contained unit; however, it is joined onto the main house. Your privacy will be respected at all times and you will not be disturbed throughout your stay.
There is no off-street parking at the accommodation. Parking is on the street outside the property for free. Please note time limits apply. The time limits are 1 & 2 hours between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri; however, outside of these hours, and on weekends, there is free street parking with no time limits.
There is a small step up onto the front porch.
