Amazing hotel Bar was very popular. Great service throughout. Dimitri at reception arranged things for me and was so kind and helpful.

We checked in when very tired well into the evening. Only on checking our booking details later did I realise that hotel had allocated a city facing room rather than the more expensive Ringstrasse facing room that we had prepaid for via Expedia. On challenging reception the following morning, receptionist insisted we had only book city room m, but agreed to provide free 2hr late checkout when shown written evidence. 2nd and 3rd nights of stay were both marred by fire alarms which, when we checked out, were confirmed to be false alarms. Despite clear instructions that we wished to be taken to the City Airport Train terminal. Staff told taxi that we wished to be taken to airport. Fortunately my knowledge of the city helped me realise driver was taking wrong route, but we then missed a train due to delay. For a luxury hotel, this property need to improve significantly.

Beautiful, clean classic Austrian hotel, Excellent & very helpful Concierge, very nice rooms. Only problem is was the Air Conditioning, room hot temperature. 1st room, after 4 tries, they said A/C didnt work and could fix. So they moved us to a 2nd room. 2nd room was very nice, buttttt, similar room heat problem. Problem--- only 1 of 2 AC motors were working (hall AC fine, bedroom AC was broken & would take hours to fix). So at 11pm we changed to a 3rd room. Its AC worked fine. Front receptionist team were nice people, but were limited as to what they could offer. No portable fans are available (would of been a solution) and staff explained the hotel was older, as is the AC system. Again everything except the AC was excellent about the hotel, great location and wonderful Concierge.

I didn‘t like the fact that of ther100 or so Television Channels there was no CNN. But There was about 50 Channels for the Arab world. Come on.
