Hotels with Waterslides in Lihue

Check in the young man was nice and courtesy. He was very helpful during our stay-from getting ice to exchanging towels. Cute touch to have ear plugs for the guests. Though the chickens and roosters did not bother us. It was great to see them all over! The place itself is very rundown and worn out. When we first pulled up it was kind of creepy and I was very disappointed. It could use a fresh coat of paint and definite update to electrical services. Having signs posted ‘don’t use the hairdryer while running the a/c could pop a breaker and your room could be without power’ is not the most comfortable feeling concerning the upkeep of the facility. Thoroughly my fault-I thought the room I reserved was one that had a kitchenette—‘microwave/fridge and dishes’ nope. Luckily they did have one in the lobby, though again ‘don’t use the microwave when the coffee maker is in use’ sign signifies a drastic upgrade is needed. Location is in an older part of Lihue. Little sketchy but convenient and centrally to where we wanted to be.

Would stay again.

Owner Phillip and his Manager Chris were very accommodating , always available. Breakfast was great, music provided on certain evenings were amazing. Kauai Inn is a quiet hideaway with easy access to the beaches and restaurants in Lihue. Its a great central location between driving to the east/north side of island and west side of island. Pool and spacious grounds were awesome.
