Please be aware that you need to check in quite a distance from the apartment at 99 Mansel Street. This is a taxi ride or underground and could be a big problem if you have luggage.

The property is close to Gray Inn Road and Blomsbury with easy acess to bus, and unnderground. The roooms are well laid out with a full kicthenette. The rooms are quiet despite being so central. On arrrival, you will be met at the door by a consierge and shown to your room. All very easy and straightforward.

Good location, comfortable (but check in by 8pm)
I got "upgraded" to a larger room than the one I booked (there are small single rooms at rear, this was a small double at back of house) . Ok for short stay but not for longer periods (only one chair, for example, and the small table has the TV on it). There are bigger apartments to front of house with more space, table, separate kitchen area etc Small and basic, but with well equipped kitchen, with fridge, cooker, hob, cutlery, pans etc even a dishwasher! There is a laundry in basement too. Room was warm, comfy bed, hot shower. On 4th floor, no lift (which might matter to some). Is in nice tree lined street of Georgian terrace houses in Bloomsbury. Would stay again. One thing to note - because this is not staffed in the evening, you have to check in by 8pm (I had a rush to get there after train delay).

I like the accommodation but was very disappointed not to have breakfast provided in the room. Last year when I stayed a very nice breakfast was supplied. The website clearly shows ‘breakfast’ and a picture of it. There is nothing to say that the breakfast has now been removed. When I asked the member of staff she said she couldn’t help.

The appartment was really very good- spacious, extremely quiet and well equipped with a very nice shower room. The bed was a little hard and I’m not a fan of blankets in place of duvet but otherwise I was impressed. The small kitchen was well equipped had we needed to use it and the location is excellent near Russel Square tube. It took us just 20 minutes door to door from an evening out at the theatre in Piccadilly Square.

We were in the basement no natural light , no breakfast arrived. Shower was far too hot and we phoned everyday and no one rectified these problems . Next to a staff room and laundry so early morning wake ups !! So disappointing as booked this in January

Nice, quiet street. Handy location. Clean and comfortable and loved the windows that opened for fresh air. Access to back garden was unexpected and appreciated. Downside - when we arrived and were shown the suite we found the tv in the main living area didn't work properly - only one channel available and a remote control that didn't work at all. The tv in the bedroom did work but not the remote - you had to operate the channels by standing on tiptoe and pressing buttons on the top of the tv. This sounds piddling but, after a long day of walking and site-seeing, we did want to relax with our supper in front of the tv and couldn't. The lady who took us through the suite said she would report it to the office, and I'm sure she did, but that did us no good at all. Also, the bathroom was clean and spacious but it was a bit of a nightmare figuring out how to work the temperature controls for the shower. We had a day and a half of boiling hot showers before we caught up with the one clean who spoke enough English to show us how to use the three knobs to balance the temp. Only other quibble was that we were provided with a tea towel but no sponge to wipe up spills, etc. when we used the kitchen. I understand that the hotel wants us to use the dishwasher but c'mon! I booked this place partly because it had a usable kitchen, so giving me something to wipe the surfaces with is common sense. All that said, we'd stay in a Blueprint Apartment again.

Left Stranded!
Cancelled the apartment after lunchtime on day of arrival by email citing a maintenance issue and saying that there was no alternative accommodation. Realised that this had happened before with same company the day before I was due to arrive (same reason). I couldn’t find alternative accommodation in London on the day and ended up having to find accommodation in Cambridge. This also left me out of pocket as I had to cancel and rebook travel.

This is a very nice place BUT, having stayed in a first floor apartment, it's very noisy. I tried to move to an upper floor but there was nothing was available. If you stay here, I would only do so if you can get a flat on an upper floor.

Direct Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Russell Sq then 10 minutes walk to the apartment. Had to ring but the staff came straightaway with the key. Quiet clean good wifi and TV. Best thing milk bread eggs tea provided to start your holiday. Will stay again

The flat is in a great location and a good size but so many smaller issues. The shower was either freezing or scolding, the bathroom plugs didn't work, no thermostat, WiFi signal was poor in some rooms... Small issues but together became pretty annoying

I really want to like this place, but it really not for everyone. Potential customer need to manage their expectation of the place. The apartment is nice and clean. Note that it an apartment and not a hotel, so the arrange is to check in and out is not the usual to expect to a hotel. I think the duty staff are from Eastern Europe, the communication is a real issue. You need to call advance to check in as there is no check-in desk. so you need to find a way to call. I bought a local sim, The internet connection is choppy, so the local sim helps if you need to surf. We got the basement unit, which is fine, if you don't mind the rather close up feeling , lack of light and air. Can't really open the window and blinds for privacy sake. otherwise, the environment should be cosy. The toilet taps have not marking. Careful not to be burned by hot water. You cook your own breakfast. Don't expect to cook up a storm in kitchen. The pan aren't flat so it take a while to heat up, coffee maker not working Housekeeping is confusing. I asked during check in "Is the housekeeping done daily", Twice , and both was YES, but no housekeeping. It only when I wrote a email for various inquires, and was told that housekeeping is only done on the 3rd-4th day. which ok, so long they are clear about. i just don't want my staff to be in a mess for them. Clearer information on breakfast, housekeeping, concierge service instructions would really help to improve the stay and expectation.
