Don’t stay here
The hotel had my reservation but said they had no room. Double checked the one room left that said dirty in the system in case it was clean. The room was ‘clean’ so we were able to stay. Go to the room and the toilet doesn’t flush. No breakfast left with an hour to go, had to go to Dunkin Donuts. Hallways/elevator smelled of cigarette smoke.

The place was just okay because: The elevator was not working and they didn't know when it would be fixed. We were on the 3rd floor, so that was very inconvenient. The food offered for breakfast was very sparse. Idk if they ran out or what, but every item should be set out & refilled as necessary.

We booked our reservations a month earlier (paid in full)for a king room at the Best Western. When we arrived we were told they ran out of king rooms & wanted us to take 2 queens. When we said that wouldnt work they "upgraded" us a jacuzzi room at the rundown comfort inn next door(same owner). Room was ok. There was dried urine in the jacuzzi so we decided to skip that. Our last night the cable went out. The gentleman at the front desk tried to fix it but that didnt work. There was no maintenance person or manager to handle the situation. We come to Cambridge 4 times a year. We will no longer be using the Best Western(or the Comfort Inn by default) for our stays.

Great value!
The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. The whole place looked newly renovated, and felt clean. It was in a safe, well lit area, close to the interstate, and plenty of restaurants and service stations nearby. The AC worked, the bed was comfy. The only thing that wasn’t great is that there was no hot food left 30 minutes after breakfast started.

Hotel is good -- bathtub is dangerous
The hotel was good. Normally I would give it FOUR stars. But.... THE BATHTUB IS A DEATH TRAP. Room 209. I don't mean to criticize the management. They might not be aware of this. But for any room, especially a handicapped accessible room, to have a bath tub that is so insanely slippery will eventually result in injury (and lawsuits.) I've never experienced anything like that in hundreds of hotel stays. WHY am I writing this here instead of quietly contacting management? Because I want to make sure that it gets fixed. So -- no insult to the management--they probably don't know, but PLEASE fix that. Otherwise, the hotel was fine and I do recommend it. Lobby, pool were excellent. Breakfast was good. Room met our needs and they accommodated us with adjoining rooms. Service was good. Refund policy a bit rigid since an immediate family member in another city suddenly went into a coma and we had to cut short by one day -- but I guess that's their policy. My main issue here is the bathtub. For ANY manager of ANY hotel reading this -- please check on that in your hotels. Someone will crack their skull or worse!
