Poor ventilation ruined my stay
Nice size room, good bathroom but air conditioning was a joke throughout the whole hotel - in the room was worse as you could not open the window at all. This is obviously a long running issue that the hotel obviously long standing as they have purchased noisy and pretty weak portable fans for the room and the bar area. Good ventilation is pretty basic requirement and is simply not good enough from a hotel in the Raddisson group

Room 409 is huge ! And well maintained! Side sea view lovely ! Could only open one off the windows ! Carpet was ok but outside the room needs changing when they get round to it , the hot water wasn’t very hot in the shower ! Otherwise great stay

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at the hotel. The overall experience was far from satisfactory and left me extremely displeased. The carpet in the bedrooms was in a very poor condition, with stains, burns, and frays throughout. In addition, the air-conditioning in the room was not functioning properly, making it uncomfortable to stay in. The lack of cleanliness was also alarming, with hairs found in the bathroom and on the bed sheets which did not even fit the bed properly. Furthermore, the showerhead in the bathroom was broken and continuously falling down, and to add to the inconvenience, there was no hot water available. The television in the room was practically useless as all the channels were buffering, making it impossible to watch anything. I must say that this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I strongly advise others to avoid staying at your establishment.

Room was dirty filthy stained carpets and no air or air-conditioning shower noisy low pressure water. Room was not ready on arrival after 3.30pm when checking in started 3pm...had a terrible uncomfortable night left 1.50am checked out. Very unpleasant time.

Polite Welcome and Dog Friendly Close to beach :)
Very polite welcome on reception. Booked last minute and had a small dog with us which was no problems (extra £20 for the dog) Room starting to look slightly grubby (the carpets) and tired but was clean enough for a one night stay. Would recommended for a short stay close to the beach :-)

Ideal for a weekend getaway.
The hotel was fairly well maintained throughout from the lobby to the room and all areas in-between. The room was immaculately clean however the pillows had lost a lot of of their form. There were extra heaters in the room if you were cold, but it was quite warm and we couldn't turn down the thermostat or easily open the window but we got it sorted in the end. The staff in the bar and on reception were welcoming and helpful. Great location for town centre and seafront. At £20 a day for parking I strongly recommend some sort of collaboration with the local covered car park for guests; luckily we had family nearby so we left our car with them. Would use again.
