Ideal place to base yourself for a trip to Madrid. Metro station a few minutes walk up the road, but major sites are all within walking distance. If you’re tired at the end of the day and don’t want to be around Plaza Mayor or Sol, there are many many bars and restaurants minutes away from the apartment.
The apartment is clean with all the facilities you need and more. Had a view over the square which was great for people watching. We had our own kitchenette but there is also a larger more equipped kitchen guests can share and access to a washing machine/dryer.
Luggage storage facilities too so if you have a late flight you can safely leave your bags there.
Not having a reception desk is not an issue, the key codes to access the building worked smoothly.
Great extra touches as well such as fruit and biscuits in your room when you arrive, spare charging cables, cotton wool, shower gel, cloth and washing up liquid. And not stingy with the loo rolls as I’ve experienced before in other apartments.
Communication really good with emails and a monitored WhatsApp.
Highly recommended and will use Bob again. Thanks to all the staff on site for a job well done.
