The motel is a very close walk to the beach which is nice. But the motel is old and crusty. Basically a bed to sleep in while in Magog, if NOTHING else is available. The owner accused me of fraud when he saw my in laws in the room because they were eating dinner with us and threatened to call Expedia because he thought they were staying overnight. I explained to him they were just there to eat. Who in their right mind wants to be crammed into a tiny “2 star” motel room with four adults and two children?? I went searching for the supposed “private beach” but all I could find was overgrown forest. I don’t think it’s been maintained and has been reclaimed by the trees.

Great stay! We called ahead because we weren't sure if we would arrive late, and the response was very helpful and pleasant. Friendly service throughout our stay. The room was cozy, quiet and clean. Comfortable bed, reliable wifi, fridge and cutlery provided. We would definitely go back.

Runned down, weird smell to room gave me a massive headache. Tissue box was empty and toilet paper was like barely a roll and the extra roll was 1/4 gone. Had to use napkins to blow my nose. The damm alarm went off at 5:45 am even if I never ser it. Will not be going back

long weekend away
This is our third time staying in this lovely motel. We had an amazing weekend, weather, location, perfect. The grounds are beautiful. There are tables and lawn chairs set up all around. You can have meals outside and enjoy nature. This little motel is a real gem. It is close to bike paths, great restaurants and shopping. Many activities near by. We look forward to returning very soon!!

It is rustic (like going to a cottage) but the kitchenette made it! Great to prepare breakfast before skiing as well as enjoy beautiful dinner (picked up at the Magog Metro, GOURMET pickings!)

Short get away!
This little motel is very charming and perfectly located. There is a great bike adjacent to the motel. You can park your car and use your bike to tour all the surrounding areas. Many places to see and great little shops and restaurants. Looking forward to visiting again.

Check in closes at 7:00 PM. Hotel staff (helpfully) sent an email to let us know, but we didn't have email access, so didn't get it in time. They (again, helpfully) called us when we didn't arrive before 7 because the traffic out of Montreal was terrible, but were quite abrupt on the phone.

Quiet room that was quite clean. The owner seems a bit more preoccupied with his phone and online bookings than a customer standing before him. He also recites the rules of the place as if he were a sergeant at boot camp. A little more savoir vivre wouldn't hurt him. Also the picture of the front of the motel on Expedia does not do justice to the building. It is in reality rather quaint and pretty. Also it is right on the bike and pedestrian path and thus a short and beautiful walk into town.
