The isolated tropical island is not for everyone. The UV is severe, the beaches are hard coral and mosquitoes are common. Because of that you are more likely to meet likeminded people who are perfect to share the experience with. Ninamu is a special place. I spent 9 days with the best people I've met in years. A perfect compromise between Polynesian lifestyle and "chain hotel" comfort. Never bored and the serenity revived my inner strength.

"Lovely resort. We had an ocean view hut with hot tub. We enjoyed it very much. We snorkeled right off the beach. There is only one restaurant. It's lovely but pricey especially the drinks ( averaging $15-25). Other local eateries are snack places. Not bad but limited menus. Don't miss snorkeling ..."
