This place is a gem!!! From the minute we arrived at the airport to the second we got back we were taken such good care of. The workers on the Meeru island are one of a kind; so kind, such hard workers, and always going the extra mile to make sure you’re okay. The jacuzzi water villas are worth it and so is the all-inclusive. I don’t think there’s many places that compete with this one, book the trip you won’t regret.

Very very friendly staff at this resort. Just be careful not to go crazy with spending and make sure you watch prices, especially if you bought the "All Inclusive Package". Most stuff is free but a decent amount isn't, just make sure you read the menu before purchasing. The property is amazing and so is the staff, probably one of the best parts of the trip. Aafi was an amazing staff worker

We absolutely loved the island, one of the best we have visited so far. The only thing we did not like is the fact that our room request we made before arrival was not acknowledged at all. We were allocated one of the rooms that was not yet renovated, even though we arrived when the occupancy was very low and we could have been put in a newly renovated room. This was rather disappointing. Apart from it, we had a great holiday and loved the resort!

Just WOW!! Our whole stay was perfect, such friendly staff the island is lovely and green, we stayed in a beach villa right on the beach it was adults only section and the restaurant we had our meals was adults only as well. Meals were all excellent, plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. We were all inclusive as the drinks can add up $12.50 for mocktail and around $15/$16 for a cocktail. Mini bar in room for All Inc refilled everyday. On the all Inc we got the chance to play golf, 1 sun set cruise which was amazing we saw dolphins and amazing sun set. Canoes are also free to use. The speed boat to island took about 50 min which have you the chance to pass other islands so a nice boat ride. The sea is just like the brochures turquoise blue, we took our own snorkel set and beach shoes the snorkel is very expensive to hire per day and beach shoes recommended as lots of coral, but on the beach you can go bare footed, in facr they encourage it even in restaurant low key relaxed sand on the floor so you can walk around with no shoes if you want, it was a perfect place to relax and un wind. Those with families have their own section and restaurant and pool, the adults only pool had an infinity pool didn’t use much as the sea was so tempting. We saw a manta Ray, turtle and reef shark and lots of different types of fish. We would highly recommend visiting Meeru you won’t be disappointed. Booking through Expedia was easy and communication was excellent.

Meeru - very accommodating paradise.
This resort is amazing and well worth the all inclusive price. All staff are very accommodating from room service to restaurant staff and chefs. Special thank you to Mr. Musaidh and Krystle for changing our water villa to 7 series from the one we were first allocated (3 series). The first water villa allocated to us (3 series) had an open shower and bathroom and the toilet was visible from the jacuzzi, which did not work with us as I was travelling with Family (parents). The 3 series of water villa is more suited to couples. There was no other issue with this villa, but strongly advise anyone travelling with family and wanting to book this resort to specify at time of booking that you would prefer water villa in 7 series (North of the island). 7 series villas are also more representative of the pictures that are displayed on hotels.com. The jacuzzi in the water villas are clean and provide a lovely view into the sea, if you are in 7 series water villas. We are all vegetarian and non-alcoholic and found that their chef’s were very accommodating and made excellent and mouth watering indian vegetarian food. The resort has so many facilities starting with golf, kayaking, tennis, paddle tennis, football field and the list is so large that I could go on forever. We were there for 3 nights and felt we could have spent some more days to enjoy the full list of facilities this island has to offer.

Had in INCREDIBLE stay at this resort and cannot recommend it enough! My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in an overwater villa and our only regret is not staying longer. The island itself is spectacular with gorgeous beaches spanning the entire coastline. One side of the island is best for snorkeling with the surrounding reef, which is where the overwater villas are. The other side is reef-free, ideal for swimming without having to pay much attention to your surroundings. We saw an abundant amount of sea life from our room: reef sharks, sting rays, turtles, squid and countless fish species. The buffet food was fabulous - they do a great job catering to any preference. We had our wedding photos/video done through the resort and we were blown away by the quality. Also had my hair and makeup done at the spa for one of our photoshoots, which turned out fabulous! It takes about 30 minutes to run around the island, so there's plenty of space to roam. I miss Meeru already!!
