This should be a great hotel...
It's good to support a hotel which is not a chain brain and unfortunately this hotel did prove the old adage right-you get what you paid for. The staff were friendly and welcoming; the room was spacious and comfortable yet the infrastructure needed some major renovation including minor things like the shower head and water sitting near the toilet blow which was rising from under the tiles. The person in reception did not have the combination to the safe. On the positive, the hotel is in a nice and quiet neighborhood with little traffic and breakfast could use bigger portions yet the hotel employees were prompt to provide service. Overall, the hotel needs to focus on fixing the minor issues which is sure to improve clientele recommendations.

Charming Hotel
I enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and comfortable. The public areas are charming and delightful to sit in to pass the time. This is a great spot to relax. The staff are excellent and meals are wholesome. However, it is not convenient to getting out and seeing the sights. You'll need to arrange for private tours or some kind of transportation. But I think this is true of all the hotels in Managua so don't let it stop you from staying here.

Casa san Juan positive: très près de l‘UCA pour prendre un Microbus jusqu‘à Leon, Granada,... personelle très sympa mais parle seulement espangnol Petit- déjeuner bon. Negative: jamais recu une réponse sur mes mails, chambre très vieille et pas du tout jolie, pas propre, douche horrible pas de pressure Lit trop court pour des personnes de plus de 1.80cm Climate trop de bruit et fonctionne pas correctement.

Quite disappointing
This hotel did not meet our expectations. The room was dirty, didn't have proper curtains (only half of the window could be covered), the toilet couldn't flush. The only plus was the breakfast, which was really nice. Nonetheless, very expensive and not as good compared to private rooms in most hostals we've stayed in since.

Hôtel moyen.
Hôtel correct. Très difficile à trouver, dans un quartier un peu triste. Personnel agréable mais pas très au courant de la vie touristique de la ville. Chambres simples, un peu vieillottes mais propres. Petit-déjeuner correct.
