Quaint, quiet, comfortable, CLEAN, friendly team, pretty view, easy check in and check out. Its not the ritz, but it's great for what it is - a small little locally run motel. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and blankets, plenty of pillows (I'm a pillow person, and there's never enough) would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area.

This was an extremely cute property! It is also quite walkable to a few restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone staying in Essex!

Shea's is a great place to stay in Essex. The staff is very helpful, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Hope to return sometime soon.

We stopped off for a final night before leaving for Boston airport. It was convenient for Salem and a pleasant visit to Manchester by the sea en route to the airport. The room was clean comfortable and shower was good. Local bakery made a short walk for a good coffee and croissant. Great location by the river.

Great location and very nice staff. However, the office staff leave a little early and come in late, so if you need anything keep that in mind. The property itself needs a little love. The front door has such a big gap under it that we had to roll a towel up and stuff it around it to keep the cold air out. In the shower there was caulk over top of some black mold that should have been remediated prior to being caulked. Other than that it’s a nice place and convenient to a lot of things/places.

This is a very lovely Inn and the beds are amazing!!!!best nights sleep we have had on our trip. Susan and Gail were so wonderful and the view at the Inn is quaint and idyllic . I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back on my next trip
