Boutique Stylish 3 Bedroom Apartment Melbourne CBD

This bespoke two bedroom plus study apartment is an escape from the city in the heart of the city. We do not have a carspace in the building but have a carpark nearby (7 minute walk) should you need a carspace which is complimentary.

There is currently construction works on the site next to us. We have no control over this but we would like to be upfront with our guests. Construction hours are M-F (7.30am - 5pm) and Saturdays are 8.30am-3pm.

Study: 1 sofa bed (double bed size) which can sleep 2. Please note the study walls are framed perspex, they are not as soundproof as standard walls.

Set beneath lofty heritage ceilings and punctuated with the buildings glorious period windows, the apartment's corner position is privy to views across the bustle below on Little Collins Street and The Causeway while remaining utterly peaceful and private. The gently curving living room is light-filled and spacious with a retractable glass wall leading to a winter garden room adding a sense of escape.

The kitchen is an entertainer's haven centered in the space with a freestanding Smeg stove with a bronzed mirror splashback to dance light and city reflections around the room. Bluestone tiles in the kitchen, winter garden and glamorous bathroom with separate toilet are a nod to the heritage laneway setting.

The two spacious and tranquil bedrooms are soaked in natural light and comprehensively fitted with mirrored robes; while a separate study offers an adaptable space to suit your needs.

In the epicenter of Melbourne's European inspired laneways that give the city its vitality and vibrancy, this stunning apartment is a rare opportunity to be immersed in the heart of the city with the warming aromas of coffee and artisan food at your doorstep and everything the city offers from eclectic boutiques to the heritage Block Arcade, retail stores, trams and Melbourne's entertainment precinct literally within minutes of home. Set right in the heart of the CBD , you are close to all that the city has to offer. Checkout Melbourne's cool laneways, shopping, dining and entertainment right from your doorstep.

Being right in the heart of the CBD, you can access all trams within a 5 minute walk and Flinders St Station is only a 10 minute walk away.

Our building lift is being upgraded from 5 February - 28 May 2024. During this time, the apartment can still be accessed via the fire stair (we are on Level 1). Our rates during this period have been discounted to reflect this inconvenienvc.

Worth nothing that while the apartment is generally quiet , it is located centrally in the city and guests should be aware that there will be noise from city life (bin collection on some mornings, night life, people on the streets, etc). If you have any specific concerns, feel free to get in touch with us.

For guests which have less than three 5-star reviews, we do request that a $200 security deposit is made and that photo ID is provided. The deposit is released within 72 hours of checkout if everything is in good order.

If guests stay duration is longer than 10 days, a complimentary house keeping service is provided at the half way for change of towels and general cleaning. This is to assist with reducing the possibility of an extreme clean at the end. This will be coordinated with the Guest for a suitable time.

There is no air conditioning but the apartment remains relatively cool due to it's location in a lane. There is a tower fan in the living area and mini desk fans in the bedrooms if it does get too warm.

Please be advised that once your reservation is confirmed, we kindly request all photo ID of guest making the booking, guest names and contact number of adults staying. This is to assist us with preventing fraudulent bookings and part of our security measures. We understand if you would prefer not to provide so but we respectfully will have to decline your booking to stay.

Fantastic location and fantastic host
The property was fantastic! We were a family of 7 (ranging from a 70 year old to a 7 year old). The apartment could not have been any more central. Close access to many great cafes and walking distance to the MCG as we were there for the grandfinal. The kitchen was great, the stove was fantastic to use for a big group. The host was one of the most accommodating hosts we’ve ever had - she really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable by allowing early checkin and late checkout. Highly recommended this apartment and we will be back again.

Best location
We love the location of this apartment , it is in central Melbourne and close to everything . Just as a word of caution that there’s a construction next door and the elevator is being remodeled, but we don’t mind since we were mostly out wandering around during the day and it was a good exercise up the stairs . The apartment has all the amenities that we need and the host was very flexible, and once we again , the location is the best .

Great location and stylish apartment
The car park was a very easy walk to the unit. And once there, the apartment is a little stylish oasis close to all the shopping you could want. We got coffee and a croissant at the French patisserie at the bottom of the building for an easy breakfast. The place was very clean and beds were comfortable, even the one in the third bedroom/study. The building work next door was as described and once that is done, and the lift working again, this apartment rental will be exceptional.

Great apartment in a fantastic location
The apartment was great. I was warned that the elevator was in the process of being replaced so would have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to the 1st floor. As an American, I would say it's closer to 3 flights of stairs (45-50 stairs). It was fine for our group but FYI to others. There is also major construction going on with the building next door. I would say it'll be going on for a couple of years at least. Again, it didn't bother our group but at least on one day, work started before 7am which was surprising. It can get pretty noisy. Communication with the host and with the person to meet up for the key was super easy. The neighborhood is great. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore. The apartment had plenty of linens, and the w/d in unit was nice for some of my kids clothes that didn't last the whole trip. Wish there had been another roll of paper towels but we made due. The ice maker in the freezer was great. Used it every day for our water bottles. Parking was easy too, glad it wasn't an extra charge for us. Not too bad of a walk to the garage on days we took the car out. Overall really great stay. Not sure I'll be back in Melbourne any time soon but would happily stay here again.

Great central apartment with character.
Had a wonderful stay with family here for x4 days. Excellent location, with great access to CBD and shops, cafe etc Lovely patisserie downstairs. Kids enjoyed the apartment too, and the fun games. Construction site next door was no issue, and the noise nothing more than you would expect in such a central spot. The hosts were very accomodating and super responsive. We will certainly return next time we are in Melb.

I am OBSESSED with this place. Elissa was an absolute gem. She was so responsive, so pleasant, and even let us check in early so we'd have somewhere to leave our stuff. Honestly, if I can leave a five star review on every single website for this place, I would. The decor is so adorable, the place was so clean. We had the entire floor to ourselves. The kitchen was perfect, we had all the amenities we needed. I miss this place so much. If I could live there, I would.

Great little apartment in the best location
We had a really nice stay in this apartment, the communication with Elissa was very smooth. She has been very responsive to our requests (late check-in, late check-out request for instance) and strived to meet all our requests. There are currently some building works in the next block which make the place quite noisy during work hours, however this is something that we were aware of before going. I think the coolness of the place could be improved especially during hot periods, Although the building somehow keeps relatively cool, there is no aircon in the apartment and few windows can be open. Apart from that, we had a great stay at Elissa's place.

Perfect location, clean, very well equiped, comfy beds linen. Any contacts made with host was always timely answered and adequate information. Accommodating in allowing a late check out. The change/exchange of keys was very smooth considering the there had been a problem with the key just before arriving. Will definitely stay again and advise friends of this stay. Perfect . We were pre warned about building constriction noises, didn't find it a porblem. Thank you Elissa

Superb location!
Apartment is artistically styled, comfortable, and perfectly located in the middle of everything the CBD has to offer. Couldn't ask for a better location! Easy walk to Southbank, Docklands, Vic. Markets, etc., or take a tram (tram stop located just around the corner). Loved our stay, loved the location!

Perfect for NZ’s stuck in Aussie
Was caught short and needed somewhere central to stay when I arrived in Melbourne from NZ during the Latest COVID outbreak. Elissa was fantastic to deal with and I was able to extend my stay multiple times at the last minute without any problems. The Apt was perfect for myself and my daughter. We were super lucky to get a place in NZ MIQ and flew back home to NZ via Singapore (as no airlines flying directly between NZ /Aus). Great location, right on the doorstep of all of what Melbourne has to offer, coffee, food, drinks, movies. Stunning apartment in central location
This is an incredible apartment in a fantastic central location, an easy walk from many wonderful laneways, restaurants, bars, cafes, attractions and shops. It was equally lovely to be inside and to step out! Hosts Elissa and Mat could not have been more helpful. Only one issue which is the flip side of such a convenient location - be prepared for some noise at night from local bars, and city cleaning noise in the morning.

Fabulous place and location!
Can’t beat location for staying in Melb. Owners were great with communication. Accommodation was beautiful and in pristine condition. Had to wait a bit for third party key pick up and drop off but otherwise couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Unique/ Artsy little Hide away
This is the perfect example of how wonderful Melbourne can be. This is such a special little Gem that is tucked away within the CBD. The Apartment has such a warm and inviting feeling and makes you smile at every turn. I would highly recommend if you're wanting a weekend away to the city. It's definitely unique and well worth the $$.
