There was construction/repair of an elevator. A lot of noise-hammer drilling during the day.the pool was closed for repairs. Otherwise a very comfortable stay. We will return, albeit after construction

Hotel was under renovation which we were unaware of at the time of booking. We had to use the internal lifts and fire escape routes to access our rooms. This was very difficult with 3 women trying to navigate with heavy luggage. There was no offer of assistance with the luggage. We weren’t aware that we had to pay $100 holding fee when we booked. I’m not sure what the $100 was for given there was no mini bar in the rooms. One of the rooms we booked didn’t have a fridge but instead a wine fridge. The $100 was taken on the spot but will take up to 2-3 days to get it back. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Upon my first interaction, i really wasn’t greeted nicely. It was just a bad first impression. There is only one lift due to repairs and it’s old. The building is very out dated. The pool was closed for maintenance on a 35 degree day. You ask for ice through room service and they tell you there will be a charge unless you come down and get it yourself. The room was decent and clean though, great bed! Balcony is horrible. The location is great cos I love China town but I will have to look at other locations next time. The room service girls were lovely for what it’s worth!

I liked the great price, room was clean and spacious, welcoming staff. The only downfall was the lifts. In the middle of renovating, you have to go through 3 /4 narrow doors and small corridors to get to the hotel lift. Seperate lifts for tne odd number floors anda another for even floors. Like a rabbit warren and it's very confusing for the 1st couple of times that you use it.

The hotel was in a convenient location for the theatre precinct. However, there was an issue with only having one very slow lift. On our last day we couldn't get down from the thirteenth floor and no one had contacted us about why the lift was out of action. Also, the front steps would be problematic f a young woman with a bag that she could not carry up the stairs.or older people or people with heavy bags. My husband had to help

lifts were not functioning, and you had to walk around through many doors and passages just to access your room. fire alarm went off with 3 fire trucks at midnight causing lack of sleep. room is way too noisy with street frontage Noise and we stayed in your top dollar room. wasn't good enough. i won't be staying here again.
