Accidentally took the lift to the basement, dead cockroaches everywhere. Very noisy due to some drunk couple arguing in the corridor at 2am, no one to call to get it sorted. Shower is actually in the bedroom just behind a curtain. Reading lights didnt work, sink cracked, toilet flush was faulty.

My room wasn't clean, and it got booked out a second time after I checked in. A random stranger let themselves into my room while I was in bed! Staff were apologetic but offered no compensation. The next night my access card didn't work and had to be reset, and when I explained to the next staff member it might be to do with the previous nights double booking she just laughed. Location was great, and shower pressure excellent, but I didn't feel safe there and wouldn't go back.

This is budget accommodation in terms of the price and the age of the property and facilities - but, it is clean and in a very convenient location. It's noisy so good to bring ear plugs.

Budget means basic. There was a kettle, milk & teabags, TV which I didn’t use, the bed was comfortable with nice crisp sheets & there was hot water for a shower. But the window was dirty, facing out to an alley where bins were very noisily emptied in the early hours & you had to close the curtains as there were people working in an Office a short distance away. The shower screen was broken, there were no reading lights as they’d been removed & replaced but one was broken off & the other was too far away to be useful. Everything was a bit worn, tatty or shabby. But perfect location, clean & ok for one night.

Inner rooms have windows onto a light well , with no light. The room was quiet but about 9 pm a loud whirring sound stared, like giant fan. The loud noise continued late into the night.The staff where helpful, the location is good , bed linen good ,but rooms getting a little bit tired.Not sure I’d stay again Cheers
