The reception staff were amazing and attentive to our individual needs. There were days when the room refresh was done later than ideal. I understand this isn't the norm and was probably a staffing issue, but we were in the room and didn't want to leave.

The coffee&tea caddy needs to be flipped around so one can make a coffee wish the breakfast buffet had some gluten free options or soy milk maybe a PowerPoint right near the bedhead so one can charge their phone without being told i should bring an extenision cord and the carpet should be replaced my room had bulges underneath the carpet and what was the strong perfume smell in the lobby was overwhelming everytime i entered

This Ibis hotel is in need of refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of other Ibis locations. Having stayed at several Accor and Ibis hotels this year, I found this particular property noticeably behind in terms of upkeep. The building feels dated, and the carpets, in particular, are in need of replacement. There is also a noticeable musty smell throughout, indicating the hotel has seen better days. A refresh would greatly enhance the guest experience.

Booked for 3 did not have bedding or towels for 3 unfortunately poor girl on reception was on her own made very slow process to check in. Advertised as a bar and restaurant this is incorrect as it to only open for breakfast

The fire alarm went off and there were no instructions for help. We evacuated down to the breakfast buffet area and the alarm wasn’t even going off down there and no one knew anything about it. We were told we could go back up to our rooms as it was a false alarm. The evacuation alarm continued to go off for 30 minutes. Then the fire fighters made an announcement that they investigated and all clear. Why were we sent back to our rooms when they hadn’t investigated yet and given the all clear. Horrible service and staff not trained at all for emergencies. Not offered anything as compensation for the inconvenience.

Positives: location, friendly staff. Unfortunately small things made our stay less pleasant: room key didn't work initially, no tea towels or dish liquid, no lift from carpark (multiple sets of steep stairs to lug luggage & medical equipment up), car patk is very tight to exit if you have a large car, no easy place to park for check-in (can only access carpark after check-in), restaraunt wasn't open to guests for dinner just private functions.

Great location. The communal areas are a little tired and the decor is dated. Ask for extra pillows as they're veey flat and you only get 1 each. Staff were very friendly amd checkin was fast and easy.

2 nights stay for family of 5
Good location, walking distance to Victoria market and shops. Family of 5 and stayed 2 nights. Check in and out was a breeze, counter staffs friendly. Downside is the parking is expensive at AUD35/ night and the exit from carpark is very narrow so when we were exiting the car park in our 7 seater car, 1 of us need to get down to direct the driver when turning out from carpark.
