We stayed at this property thinking the Sheraton was supposed to be a 5 star hotel well it left a lot to be desired! Only positive’s were location, size of the rooms & cleanliness. The downfall was the attention to details or lack there of; tv was not working consistently & the room phone was broken;handset did not work could only use speaker option. On check in Cheryl was fantastic although did not know layout of rooms so had no idea where the city rooms were located & we had to come back to reception & change rooms & then new room wasn’t exactly city view either. She did offer us complimentary drink on arrival & a drinks voucher which we used but wine served was quite average! Another negative is the lack of staff training; both guest services & concierge had no idea where the nearest medical centre was & told us to go to a pharmacy as there could be a dr there!! They offered no assistance to find one or assist in any way. Concierge had no idea about where the tram stop for free city circle tram 35 was & sent us to wrong place! These things really are things guest services should know. SHERATON get your act together WE WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.
