Property is amazing, 2nd time we have stayed at these units. Both bathrooms have drainage issues so bathroom floor is very wet the whole time apart from that it’s amazing

My family of 3 had amazing one week stay in 2 bedroom apartment. everything we needed was available from kitchen to washing machine. Views are excellent. location is perfect. Totally recommend to families travelling with young kids.

The reception is only open between 9.30am and 3pm. No after-hours number or service. On arrival, the room smelt awful (not sure why, but suspect the cleaning products used). The advertised sofa bed was also not fit to sleep on. We also discovered that the shower flooded the bathroom when used. Tried to report these issues to management, but the only phone number was not manned until the following morning. To make matters worse, there is only one lift call button, but one of the lifts does not have the necessary buttons to go to higher floors (where our apartment was). If, however, that lift is at ground floor, the call button opens it and does not call another. On two seperate occasions, we spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to come down in a different lift before we could go to our floor. The next day, the management informed us that they would look at the problems whilst we were out. On our return, we found that they had attempted to fix the shower, but had left wet towels all over the bathroom floor. When we ran the shower, it began to flood again after a couple of minutes. They did nothing about the sofa bed. We tried to contact them but, once again, the only number was no-longer manned. As we were travelling with 2 adults and 3 children and needed a functional room, we checked out early and moved to different accomodation. When we requested a refund for the nights we didn't stay, however, Aussie Escape Apartments refused. Dreadful service and experience

The property is in a great location on Collins St - there’s a tram stop right outside, Southern Cross Station is a 5 minute walk and it is very central to walk and experience inner city Melbourne. The view from Level 35 was amazing! There’s also a Woolworths inside Southern Cross Station so you can stock up and make use of the kitchenette in the apartment. The apartment could have been left a little cleaner when we checked in… there was toast under the dining room chair, someone else’s sock in the bedroom and the dishes were wet and some had lipstick on them. The lifts were also under service and at times only one was working, and it took some time for a lift to stop on our floor. All things aside we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again for the excellent location.

After being given a sub standard room (which was changed) we found the stay fine. A couple of points; the ergonomic design of the bathroom around the basin was cramped caused by a mirror cabinet that doesn’t need to be there as it’s not used. It sticks out too far. Secondly the issuing of only one key is inconvenient for a couple. On the plus the location was great, close to all amenities. One final comment, the room was looking tired

This property was amazing value and they were certainly generous with their inclusions. We didn't have to go out and buy extra tea bags or milk! One of the elevators was out of service which made for long waits in the lift lobby. The main (double) bed was done for us as we are short, but I wouldn't recommend any tall people stay here as the bed would be too short. It was a little hard for my taste though. But the pillows: one big and hard (not for me) and the other was the softest, dreamiest pillow I've ever slept on. The bathroom is well appointed with a lovely big shower and you don't have to wait ages for hot water. Again, lots of toiletries provided including toothbrush and toothpaste sets. We did wonder why there were no blinds on the living area windows though. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was very nice. Management was very helpful. Well furnished and equipped place. They replenished the place as well. View from every room was excellent. Only downside was lift., very slow but I guess they were reconstructing it. Overall very pleasant stay. We definitely consider to stay again if we r visiting Melbourne.

I was shocked at the quality of a so called 4 star apartment. Lifts weren't lined with board and tape and took forever to get up and down in. The carpet was very stained with rugs on top that were crumpled and easy to trip over. Did not look like the photos. Very disappointed.

Having to call reception to come to the desk and waiting 15min each time. Pretty annoying. Lifts, complete joke. Task 10min to get down to ground floor each time, I’ve been to Vegas and stayed at large hotels and there was never an issue. Place was clean, brilliant location. Great views from the hotel room. We stayed for 5 nights, I have 3 boy under 7, excited to use the pool. The pool was out of service for the 5 days. One of the reasons we stayed there. Overall not sure if I’d stay again, however it was a good stay and I would recommend this place to friends.

This is a great property for a stay in Melbourne! Extremely central location. Great food options nearby. Transport very close with southern cross station and a tram stop right out the front. Staff were very helpful. Allowed us to store our bags once we checked out. Apartment is clean and comfortable. All the amenities you need. Would highly recommend. Only downside (and this was not the fault of Aussie escape apartments) is that the lifts were a little frustrating. Only 1 out of 3 working at time for such a huge building was a little problematic. But Susan this would not at all stop me staying again in the future! Thanks

We liked staying here the only issue was the renovations and the elevator. It took 5-10 minutes each time to get from our floor down to the ground level. Very hard when you have a toddler on hand

We loved the view most of all. Can see the ocean in the distance and right next to the yarra river. Lots of restaurants close by with great food and a food court type place right next door. We didn’t use the kitchen but the bedrooms were comfortable, and the size was great for how little time we spent there. Good shower pressure. Fast elevators. Really no complaints. We loved Melbourne
