Arrival at this property is rather confusing as it is linked to the neighbouring motel where the reception is, so you think you've arrived but you haven't. You need to traverse a slopping bank through a broken fence. There are also a few units in unsigned areas. Luckily, we arrived in daylight and were able to orientate ourselves from the receptionist's vague instructions: 'down on the left in the corner' which was really not helpful. She might have come out from behind her desk and from the driveway pointed to the unit.
Once located, the unit was an old fashioned brick wall type unit with a bar fridge behind the entrance door which stopped the door from opening fully so that it kept slamming shut as we unloaded our belongings. The television was small and only free to air.
What we did love was that the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had a nice view over the town and good blockout curtains. The little kitchen was well equipped with clean utensils, crockery, toaster, kettle and microwave with real milk in the fridge.
The best thing for us, who were travelling with an old dog, was having a back door opening onto a grassed area. It was so easy for our dog to toilet.
