The Strath Taieri Hotel is the home for locals of Middlemarch, hosting bands and events throughout the year.

The Hotel has a bar and restaurant which is open from 2pm most days.

The Space:
A clean, traditional style pub with the accommodation rooms sharing a common bathroom with 3 showers.
Each private room contains its own hand basin and access to the guest lounge where complimentary tea & coffee is provided all day.
A TV is provided in the guest lounge for use 24 hours a day.

Complimentary Continental Breakfast is included with every accommodation rate; which includes tea & coffee, cereal, muesli, wheetbix, cornflakes, fruit & toast with condiments.

A quiet town which enjoys hosting travellers passing through or taking advantage of the Central Otago Rail Trail.

Getting Around:
Taxis, Uber or buses are not available in Middlemarch.

Transport is essential, unless passing thourgh on the Rail Trail.

Other Things to Note:
The Strath Taieri Hotel does host events from time to time. If an event is taking place on a night of your reservation you will be conacted prior to your arrival.
