It is pet friendly, however there are not any designated grassy areas for dogs on the property. If your dog likes to use grass, you have to find it on surrounding street sidewalks. Otherwise, the stay was great.

I came down to the breakfast area, which I believe is open until 10am, looking for a family member. It was a few minutes before 10 and I wasnā€™t looking for anything to eat, but was ā€œgreetedā€ by an old lady telling me ā€œweā€™re closed ā€œ with an attitude. So much for southern hospitality. Wont be staying here again.

No complaints, would stay here again.
We chose this hotel to be near other family members who were in town for a wedding. The reception desk staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. It was conveniently located midway between the University and the Downtown Mall, and right on the trolley route going in either direction. Room was clean and comfortable (although serviced every other day, which I can live with). Breakfast was available, about medium quality, but items offered did vary daily, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. I would stay here again.

Very happy with my accommodations at the Hampton Inn! Pleasantly surprised that my room had a nice living room area and a full kitchen! Felt like I was at my old 1 bedroom apartment! Lots of room and I felt very happy there.

Some Hamptons have a great Breakfast, this one was weak to fair at best. A great location 2 blocks from UVA Battle Bldg. where I was going. All was OK, no bad issues but I have had much better breakfeast at other Hamptons.
