Gross room in need of repair
The shower area had paint blistering and peeling exposing the drywall underneath and potential mold. Water leaked from somewhere out from underneath the toilet onto the floor. The shower water ran out onto the floor no matter how you positioned the curtain. The room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room.

This is literally just a motel in a sketchy neighborhood. When we arrived police were at the location and the front desk people were locked in a room behind bullet-proof glass.

Extremely Good for the Price
Very pleasantly surprised given the price. Free parking and breakfast. The rooms were (for the most part) clean and the beds decently comfortable. There were several zip cases on each mattress to try to prevent bedbugs which was appreciated (also no signs of the creatures, yay!). The check in was somewhat slow but still took less than 10 minutes. I had booked 6 rooms but had to put a different name down for each room and then that person had to check in for that room, which caused some problems (we were a large group and car groups were not the same as hotel groups). The bathroom was dripping wet and had hair on the floor and there was a wasp that came out of a hole in the wall. So not great. The hotel breakfast was meh but pretty standard for continental. Other than that, everything went pretty well. I also really appreciated the free reservation policy that let us cancel up to like the day before.

We arrived on time for our 3:00pm check-in and were told that our rooms weren't ready and to come back in 30 minutes. We returned 30 minutes later but had to wait in line for 90 minutes because there was only one staff person and she was incredibly slow. No effort was made to expedite check-in for those of us who had been turned away. Nor did she offer an apology or compensation for the poor service and breech of contract. As a result we were late to the event we travelled from MN to attend. While there may be a small cost savings choosing Days Inn over other hotels, no amount of money is worth the truly unacceptable service we received. Will not be staying at Days Inn again.

Upon arrival, there was a cloud of cigarette smoke in the vestibule/check in area. This is a non-smoking motel. My room had not been completely cleaned since the last guest. There was something sticky on the bedside table that I wiped up, there was no soap, or shampoo in the room. The toilet seat was dirty. On the second night, the soap and shampoo had been replenished. The breakfast was very sparse, no big deal, coffee was hot and tasty and what items were there were of good quality just limited. Breakfast hours were posted in the lobby but the lobby was closed when I arrived the first night so I missed breakfast the first morning. Again, no big deal as I could have asked for that.

The floors were new, but everything else was dirty. There was hair in the tub that didn't look like it has been updated in 30 years. The door looked as if it was kicked in and not repaired. The molding was missing and there were holes in the door where the opener used to be. It definitely looked like it was a motel that was bought by the Days Inn. Also, seemed overpriced for what you got

Stayed one night for a wedding in the area, it was okay. The beds were clean, the room smelled like bleach. The bathroom was gross, and I’m glad we weren’t there longer, wouldn’t have wanted to shower there. The couch was also gross, but again avoidable since we were there only one night. The phone also rang in the middle of the night which freaked us out, and the desk had called the wrong room. Checkin was very fast and easy, so that was nice. I wouldn’t stay there for any long stay, but for one night it was fine, and it was fairly cheap.

This property was average! Staff was so so. Usual breakfast offerings! Expedia listed this property as having coffee in common areas. Well, apparently just during breakfast! Not through the day as we prefer! My main complaint was the location! The other complaint I had was the trash in the parking lot that nobody could pick up, other than me! Should we return to this area I would not stay at this facility again!
