One of the world's great hotels by reputation, a reputation it entirely deserves. The attention to detail is extraordinary (on returning to my room the first evening, my books had been provided with Taj bookmarks and all my computer cables were neatly bound up) and yet the staff are friendly and charming too. The carpet was soaking wet and uncomfortable near the window due to rains. The heritage taj palace building needs some water proofing done to prevent further damage to the room flooring.

There are many luxury hotels to choose from in Mumbai but the Taj Palace Hotel is not only exquisite but also a historic landmark. My stay s in Mumbai always include a night or two at the Taj. Its not to be missed as much as any other landmark in the city.

It was an incredible experience for both my son and I. So elegant, amazing service and hospitality. Enjoyed the pool, the food and booked our tours through the hotel. This is a must stay at Hotel when in Mumbai.
