Helpful staff but very expensive for three star Hotel. Elevator was extremely slow. Good location.

YEHS was conveniently located to transport and local attractions. The bedding was pristine and crisp and the bed was always made beautifully. The bathroom was clean and the shower was easy to get 'just right'. The receptionist was warm and obliging and happy to have a genuine chat which is meaningful for solo travelers. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting beloved Sydney.

Very impressed for the price we paid! 1 star to the hotel staff who were lovely to deal with and very helpful, even showing us the bus routes. 1 star for the check-in experience and upgraded room. 1 star for the cleanliness and facilities in the entire establishment. 1 star for the breakfast which at $20 a head was a bargain! 1 star for the location and ease of commute from Central Station. Very impressed with this hotel and its staff. I had emailed prior to our arrival to see if we could check-in earlier and received a very polite email back to say it may not be possible depending on room availability, which I completely appreciate. However when we got there around 11am the staff were very accommodating and booked us into a room immediately. Not only that, but we were upgraded to the top floor! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the bed was actually comfy! I was also impressed that shortly after going into our room the phone rang and it was reception asking if everything was okay - which it was. We felt very VIP staying here. 11/10 would stay here again :)
