Swimming pools (2) were green or empty - was not mentioned on the site the pools were not operational. Spa pool water was murky and smelly. Shower grout and walls were disgusting - wiped with face cloth and it turned black Dust and stains in room Restaurant advised they were award winning - could only see latest award from 2016. Only had breakfast - runny scrambled eggs. Didn't see any others dining

Water temp in the bath and shower too cold. (Not hot enough) Heat pump filters were dirty, did not use it. Waited 5 -10 min at reception on arrival with no staff in attendance, rang bell several times before being served.

Lovely hotel by the lake, it’s location is out side Rotorua for those who like walking it’s walkable to Rotorua, it’s close to the airport but hardly saw or heard any planes. It’s close to the red woods forest and Te Puia. The hotel has a swimming pool and hot pool with a spa attached. A lovely place to stay

The property manager was rude and constantly fighting with her employees. She talked loudly in her native language and was using foul language in front of guests. We had requested early check in, but were asked to wait beyond the regular check in time. I am asking for a full refund of our stay.

While not in Rotorua itself, this resort is minutes from city center and away from the sulphur smell. Lovely setting and attentive staff. Free laundry is a major plus! Easy parking and access to all rooms. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Excellent T food!
