Unfortunately our taxi took us to the sister hotel in the city, this apartment is further out towards Pudong airport. Quiet and beautifully presented with plenty of restaurants. .

Wow. This place is amazing. If you are interested in staying in a hotel steeped in history, you have to stay in this hotel. Everything about the Fairmont Peace Hotel is grand. It is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever encountered.

Hotel room is designed poorly. Hairdryer power plugs into a socket inside a drawer which cannot be opened without hitting the toilet. Smoke detector is installed above the bed and flashing lights every second. Other than this, everything else is good in terms of facilities, services and cleanliness.

"This is an excellent, central hotel with wonderful friendly staff and a nice pool. The bed was really comfortable, the view from my room was great and the bathroom is pristine! The breakfast buffet was also tasty and fresh. I will definitely be back!"
