I’ve stayed here often and it’s always my go to in Napier love the spa pool service reception amazing service I do think that the room could do with some maintenance… there was holes in the wall and bathroom door had a huge hole.. the couch could do with a steam clean as it looked grubby and there’s cracks in in the ceiling that I found a little bit nerve racking

Cleaning staff do a great job. But the room needs a refresh. Aircon has mould on it and isn’t fully operational. Benches have scraps etc. Broken blinds in bathroom. Just a tad tired.

After 4 amazing previous stays, booked the same roomtype/rate, but was given a room with stained carpet & two 15cm holes punched in the wall infront of the bed & bathroom door. Could not shake the sense I had been downgraded due to having done something wrong (though we are always respectful guests, leave room as arrived etc.). Shoreline, even if you are in a position where you can't put the bond$ of the customer who caused this damage in room 10 towards repairs, you shouldn't be renting this room out at the same rate to your customers. This room has clearly suffered some violence and that can be traumatic for some people, especially people passing through Napier who have nowhere else to stay and have spent all their money on accomodation. My review: I would say don't stay in room 10 but perhaps dont stay at shoreline as you might still end up in the same situation.
