I just love the view from my room, a real city view! The bed is super firm and comforterable. The bed sheet is clean without dust. The pillow can be more firm, they are too soft for me. The bathroom is big, clean, and nice. It is a luxury hotel, so the dining service is expensive but good quality. If you want a more affordable breakfast, I strongly suggest the italian/columbian breakfast down the street, their illy espresso is just classic.

This is the first time we stayed at a Sofitel property and it did not disappoint! The staff were wonderful, the hotel decor was gorgeous and the service was phenomenal! If you stay at this property, you MUST try the croissants! We had to get some to take home with us! They are flown in from France and we could sure taste the difference. This hotel will not disappoint!!

A top notch hotel entirely worthy of 5-stars. The staff is kind and helpful - always willing to go a little extra further to help you out and make your stay better. The rooms are very high quality, with comfortable beds, plush carpet, and every modern amenity. The restaurant is excellent with an interesting mix of menu choices - all of which (I dined there three times during my stay) were very good. The Sofitel facility is luxurious and very well-maintained, but the outstanding customer service is what really sets this hotel apart.

We actually couldn’t physically stay here. We had a rather expensive “virtual stay” looking at the website from our phones whilst in our Uber! The pictures of the hotel still looked nice on the website! All the offramps / roads into Chicago dtwn were blocked off Sat night by the PD for some event. Our Ub driver tried everything / circled Chicago for an hour - but we couldn’t find an open road to the hotel. The police told us to get a hotel by the airport as there was no way to our hotel outside of walking 2 miles w luggage from the freeway offramp. We called the hotel & were given “the shrug”. “Not our problem.” We had to find a different hotel last minute instead. Wished we could’ve gotten help from someone there. Oh well - the pictures on the website seem nice.

This was a superlative hotel stay. The staff was beyond all expectations as far as accommodating questions and needs. Comfortable, quiet room. Luxurious decor and furnishings.
