Pet Friendly - Walk to Shoal Bay Beach or Little Beach! - Bring your boat.

Catalina 12 has received a facelift and is a gorgeous holiday house located in Nelson Bays' most sought after holiday destination. Walk to Little Beach, Shoal Bay Beach or Nelson Bay Lighthouse and enjoy breakfast at the Inner Light Tea Rooms.

Downstairs is perfect as a teenagers retreat with a combined laundry / bathroom and a large bedroom with double bed, lounge area and TV. Split system air conditioning in the bedroom for guest comfort.

Wander upstairs for the other 2 bedrooms with queen size beds (linen provided) and an open plan lounge / dining area leading onto front and back decks to enjoy the ocean breeze. Ceiling fans throughout will ensure you are cool all summer long. For those extra hot days, the upstairs level has ducted ar conditioning with 3 zones.

This house is pet friendly for a small pet and it has a fenced rear yard with plenty of grass. It also provides free Wi-Fi.

Note: This property will not accept school leaver or party bookings.

Easy walking distance to everything

A great location to easily walk to the beaches and a slightly longer easy walk to the marina area. Plenty of fenced off space for dogs outside. Make sure to take your own BBQ as we didn’t realise there wouldn’t be one. Also something to wash down any boards/kayaks (eg bucket) as there wasn’t a hose. We would definitely stay again!

Overall the house was very clean and had most amenities we needed. A BBQ and some salt and pepper would have been nice but overall good. Price was high for the standard of property. Blinds in main bedroom missing a blade so not giving total privacy or blockout.

A quiet part of Nelson Bay the back yard for pets was excellent also secure. The house was great and really had the basics although a BBBQ wasn’t available. The paint on the back of house spoils the out look other then great.

Our first pet friendly experience

We weren’t looking for a fancy place but we wanted a safe yard with easy outdoor access and separate sleeping area for our small dog. The location was great offering plenty of walking paths to explore. The property is well renovated and clean with plenty of space for 6 adults. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Linen and towels were fresh and good quality. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it was well stocked with utensils etc.

Catalina Close stay

Love port Stephens! Location is great for walking to the beaches and there’s cafes, shops and great tourist spots just a short drive away. The house is a good and allows you privacy from others if you are staying in a group. Check in process was so easy and the communication with the property owners was always quick. Thanks for a great stay.

Good little house a short walk to either Shoal Bay or Little Beach.

Convenient 3 bed/ 2 bath house close to 2 beaches. Though there are ceilings fans could still do with aircon on the hot days. Kitchen well equipped. Off street space for 2 cars which you’ll need at peak time but otherwise on quiet cul de sac. Comfortable beds and new living and dining furniture.
