Great location. Easy walking distance to city transit and Bourbon street. But far enough away that we cant hear all the chaos while we are trying to sleep.

I can not say enough good things about the staff. They made it a wonderful stay. The only issues we had were house keeping didnt not clean the room the room the last day and the water pressure is very minimal. I would sti stay there again.

Perfect spot, close to everything in the French quarter. Only thing is at about 230am to about 530am it sounded like a club with loud bass or maybe the parking lot Nextdoor cleaning dumpsters, it was very loud. Other than that I would say it was a great spot

This property offers you an authentic experience within the French Quarters. Due to overbooking, my room was located right next to the elevator which was very noisy. The walls are very thin, you can hear caaual conversations clearly. I think this hotel is definitely for older visitors, but not for anyone under 45.

The location is perfect. The front desk staff was exceptional. The location is perfect to everything. We were reallly disappointed that the pictures online for the king suite was not what was offered. The hotel changed the trundle bed to a sofa bed and did not update their website nor did we receive a notification about the room change. The room is not big enough for 4 adult people. When we asked for assistance with accommodations because we wouldn't fit comfortably the manager offered a refund but no other options for a new room or to find us another hotel. My friend ended up having to get a room at another hotel bc the room was just too small. As it was a busy weekend because of Krewe of Boo, Funk Fest, etc. all rooms were sold out. I liked the place but I'm not sure I'd stay again with if I'm more than 2 people

*Disappointing Stay at The Glarerie Hotel (Room 416)* Rating: 2/5 stars I stayed at The Glarerie Hotel from October 10th to 14th, and my experience was marred by a horrific room experience. Despite the hotel's pleasant appearance, room 416 was a nightmare. *Room Issues:* - Extremely humid and moist environment - Moldy smell throughout the room - Bathroom problems: - Shower flooded repeatedly - Toilet wouldn't flush properly *Lack of Resolution:* We informed the front desk daily, but the issues persisted. It wasn't until our last night, when we spoke with Brandon (front desk), that we received any meaningful assistance. He empathized with our situation and offered us access to a vacant room next door to shower and use the bathroom. *Contrasting Experience:* The adjacent room was a stark contrast to room 416, highlighting the hotel's potential for exceptional accommodations. *Follow-up Failure:* Brandon and Manager John M promised a credit due to the inconvenience, but we have yet to receive it. Despite contacting the hotel after our trip, there has been no response. *Conclusion:* The Glarerie Hotel's hospitality fell short. While Brandon's efforts were commendable, the overall experience was disappointing. What he did should have been done on night 1.Avoid room 416 at all costs. *Recommendation:* Ensure you do not get assigned room 416. If you experience issues, request assistance from Brandon, as he demonstrated a higher level of empath and willingness to help.

Terrible experience. When we arrived, one room we had reserved was dirty and not made up and the other had two beds rather than the advertised three and one of the two beds was a sofa bed with dirty linens wadded up in it. Since there was no housekeeping on site, we had to be given a different room to replace the one that had not been cleaned at all. Only two beds in the one room meant having to get a third room. The toilet barely worked. The walls were so thin that we finally had to knock on the door of the adjacent room to ask them to turn down their TV. Told there was a city view but it was of a parking garage. Sheets for sofa bed were almost unusable due to strong bleach smell and elsewhere the cleaning products smell was strong. But the coffee was good. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff were attentive and friendly and gave excellent suggestions for the area. They accommodated us when our check-in was earlier than expected and held our bags when we checked out hours before our flight until we were ready for them. The art gallery had some nice pieces, and the restaurant next door seemed wonderful (oddly enough we didn't go there but I feel like we should have). Best part was we were near all the action without being in the middle of it, which made sleeping much easier.

Almost perfect except that I stayed on 3rd floor and I was always awaken by the footsteps on top of my room at wee hours in the morning (around 2am) in 2 of my 3 nights stay. Staff, service and location is amazing.
