Front desk and check in was easy and smooth. It’s not the newest but you get exactly what you pay for. Clean and tidy. They’re a little slow when requesting extra towels, etc but it all worked out. Most posts complaining about it not being the newest and nicest don’t want to pay for that luxury so just enjoy and appreciate what you paid for and being so close to time square

Although it’s not the fanciest hotel on the outside or inside, when I walked in, the front desk worker was extremely kind. When I was able to check into my room, I was actually blown away! It was so cute and cozy like a studio apartment. There was a medium sized refrigerator, sink, stove, dishwasher, microwave and cabinets. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The view was even really nice! Looks are deceiving! Definitely check out this hotel! I wish I could have stayed longer.

Some of the room finishes were a bit dated. Wasn't expecting carpeting. The bathroom, though there was a tub, a typical person, even myself a male, 5'-6" would not be able to take a bath. One of 2 elevators on my last day was out of order so it took some extra time to get up and down from my 18th floor room. Bed was comfy though. As I was working remotely, there was of space for a laptop and travel screen to be set-up comfortably. The desk chair was OK. WIFI was good. The price I paid through Expedia, was acceptable for the 4 days I was there and in the area it is.

Great location, especially if you need to work at the Javits Center. Plenty of dining options nearby. Reasonable price per night - based on NYC rates. One elevator did not work so it took a while for the other one to pick you up, and the rooms are a little small, but overall I’d stay here again!

We loved our first stay at the Candlewood Suites. Our queen studio suite room was perfect, very spacious, comfortable bed, great shower & huge TV. We loved having the kitchen facilities and the good sized shampoo, conditioner, jbody wash, hand wash & body lotion was a huge plus, thank you. We weren’t bothered by cleaners coming in every day, which was great. Our room had a city view, which consisted of, amongst other buildings, the top of the Empire State building! The staff were lovely, everyone greeted you in the lifts & corridors. We saw free cups of hot drinks in the lobby, hot chocolate, candy on Halloween, muffins, marshmallows & dipping chocolate. There is a great facility to borrow things such as games, dvd players & dvds & some electrical items. They have washing machines, the gym looked like it had decent equipment, a tv and free bottles of water for after your work out. The hotel itself is a short walk to the likes of Times Sq, Broadway, numerous subway stations & the Port Authority bus station. There is an amazing deli 2 mins walk on the corner called Lincoln Deli. We took breakfast away from there every morning & had it in the room. All in all a brilliant time was had. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel 3 blocks from Time Square and an easy walk to Penn Station. My Studio room was on the 28th floor so was nice and quiet and contained a fully functional kitchenette with full size fridge, the bed was super comfortable, the aircon was noisy but worked well and the bathroom was fine. Do it yourself laundry facilities were a great additional facility.
