The property is very old. No fridge in the rooms. The curtains are old damaged and let the light in The noise is terrible so if you want a good sleep then forget it The hotel is equivalent to a 1 star motel The lady checking me in was the best part of the experience and apologised for the hotel as I was checking in so at least I was pre warned

Location and room size are great
Hotel is in a great location - just a couple blocks to Times Square and Theatre District. Price is good and room size is above average for NYC lower cost hotel. The hotel is not in 4 star shape - carpet and hallway walls are well aged. For the price it’s a good value.

this hotel is so grunge, dumpster chic. It’s like, why stay at a nice hotel when you can stay in a cute little termite hostel? Peeling wall paper, a broken faucet, and a filthy tub, are all wonderful accents that would make any filthy rat dweller feel at home. Can’t wait to find out I got emphysema from breathing in the asbestos and black mold that no doubt lined the ceiling. And if you’re traveling to NYC for the vibrant social life, look no further. The wonderful staff fill the hallways with conversation and loud bumping in the wee hours of the morning. I mean, this is the city that never sleeps, right? And speaking of not sleeping, no need to set an alarm, the cleaning crew will burst into your room early in the morning to let you know you’re gonna miss your check out time that’s 5 hours away. Was it the best experience? No. But at least it was really expensive.

When I finally was able to check in, they didn’t have the room I booked available so they downgraded me to a standard. When I finally was able to get in the room because the key wasn’t working, the pictures on the website are deceiving. The hallways are so outdated that it looks haunted. The room itself looks like it’s stuck in the 1960s. Horrible experience
